What was used to sanitize? We are experiencing a terrible odor from old guano and urine.

I just filled up two 6 gallon shop vac bags 90% full of bat guano. It definitely isnt fun. You could at least stand in that attic lol ive had to crawl around for weeks in my attic. I put up a one way door to get rid of them. One thing is for sure tho, bats are little assholes. I swear they do shit on purpose, theyre smart enough to know when im waiting on them to reveal one of their 10 different entrances. Clever little pest

Nice talk. Not a sign of bat shit. It would have been helpful if you had actually shown us some of the product..

I wish you would not call this an "infestation." That language perpetuates hostile and ignorant attitudes toward bats, likening them to mice or rats. Many bat species in Canada are endangered--especially little brown bats, who often roost in human-made structures. About 7 million little browns have been killed in the last 15 years due to a fungal infection introduced by humans. We can help these populations by supporting colonies, including those in our homes. Bats do not over-winter in attics, so regular guano removal in winter is one easy way to manage this relationship with wildlife. Guano is also excellent fertilizer.
