Lets say i accidentally inhaled a cloud of commercially preprocessed dry bat guano is there a health concern?

Thank you. I Went to the hospital soon after posting my original comment the doctors seemed amused about the incident & more than a bit baffled as to how to treat a possible case of hisoplasmosis. The only thing that relived my worry's is the fact that i take oral doses of iodine every day Iodine kills fungal spores including the variety that causes hisoplasmosis No symptoms have occurred Iodine also is an effective expectorant so with those 2 facts it seems modern medicine and the doctors that practice are useless in this case

What if bats poop on top of my window air conditioner ?? Noticed it there the other day and raised some concern They’re up in my vents near the eves on north side of my house .

You should be able to simply rinse the top of the unit, but be sure not to spray the hose on the bats. If they are in your house, you should provide an alternate bat house near by and exclude them from the roost in your house. Thanks for loving bats!

Hmm, I put ours on the side of our home last season. There's still no bats in it, but I didn't think about it until now, but I'm afraid our dogs might indgest the bat droppings. I was thinking of making a garden bed under it, or even placing a high rised compost bin under it, so the dogs can't get to any droppings, otherwise I guess just cleaning it up, or washing it away with the hose, lol might relocate it and place it on a tree away from the house, so the dogs don't get themselves sick 😅

Remember, bats prefer the temperature between 85 and 100 degrees. The most common bat house placement mistake is giving it too much shade.

what about in a apartment complex roof? is it safe still?

So long as it is outside and exposed to sun and left alone, it is not likely an issue. However, you may not want it building up for other reasons such as extra weight (if there is a lot) or other roof damage such as discoloration and/or corrosion.

On vacation in the Caribbean about 20 years ago, we were led into a bat cave by a bus tour operator. Picture 20 idiots who paid a dollar to see a black cave dome, listening to the rustling of hundreds (thousands?) of bats, while standing in ankle-deep "sand". After about a minute sense occurred "THIS IS NOT SAND! EVACUATE!" Big laughs all round, nobody died afaik :)

Bats are wild animals, they will do their wild animal things and you should not touch them or try to give them shots.
