None of us are perfect and are at different stages in our walk with Christ, so we need to be understanding and willing to extend mercy. God certainly does. That burrito was enormous ha ha, but it is a really good report. That doughnut looks really good too. I go to a place call Nara Teriyaki in Portland Oregon and they have a delicious Beef teriyaki sub sandwich, that I love and I love the people that work there too. over time they hear me calling on the phone for take out and ordering the same thing over and over, but I just love it. good to know places like that. Your reports are really helpful. I think most people should always have a group of places that they can count on. ( I really love the Middle, watch many times through with my wife. )

You inspired me Atticus! For lunch today my wife and I went to our closest local Mexican restaurant (Fresco). I got a burrito that looks a lot like the one you had. Bon Appetit!

Sadly, my burrito was awful. The meat (carnitas) was extremely dry and the only other ingredients were onions, rice and beans. It might have been improved by adding cheese and sour cream. I would have to rate my burrito combo (it included a drink) a 1 out of 10. It only got the 1 because my Diet Pepsi was great!, Now, my wife had a chile verde enchilada with green sauce and rice and beans. It would get an 8 out of 10!

I could tell by your “mmms” that this was something very tasty! Makes me hungry. This is yet another eatery that isn’t in our area, but I will look for it on road trips. I do love Mexican food. But I’m with ya on the cilantro.🤢And then always, ALWAYS desert. ☺️It looks so yum! Your explanation of your faith is spot on. I will tell you that, in the autumn of my life, I STILL am learning, and growing. I gave my life to Christ at around 12/13 at a tent revival, so the years have gone by and I’m not perfect yet. 😉 So, as long as you’re still following God and striving for excellence, you’ll continue to grow and change. I’m not even the same person I was 5 yrs ago. He will continue to refine and hone you, & weed out the chaff, as long as you’ll let Him. He is faithful to us, if we’re faithful to Him. I actually didn’t like Reverend Tim Toms answers, (most of the time) but that was in several episodes not just the Christmas one. I just used those moments to talk to my children about what his answers should have been, and that a lot of his answers were worldly thinking. We still love the show very much. ❤ I just look at those moments as teachable moments because out in the world,they’re going to come across people that think that way. Even priests or pastors.

As for Revelation 3:15-16: these verses are directed at the Church of Laodicea and the fact that these Christians were, essentially, Christian in name only, they didn't live a life that showed forth Christ. I appreciate your vids and pray that God blesses you in your walk with Him.

Hence why I prefer the term Christ follower. I am following Him, and His word, and wanting to live my life in a way that honors Him.
