Love your vlog! We will be in Malaysia next weekend. The tree you saw growing sideways with the pretty pink flowers is a frangipani. There’s lots of varieties and they grow in most parts of Australia 🇦🇺 too, with the most common one being the white flower with the yellow centre.

Fun facts to ponder: Peninsular Malaysia (and all of Southeast Asia) are within the Equator line with tropical hot (not as hot as the desert) humid temperature. Therefore, throughout history, buildings (including palaces for the royals) were made of wood (not bricks and stones), thus, you can never found any remains and ruins of the dwellings of the ancient kingdoms/peoples like in China, Japan, India, Europe and some other cool temperature areas, except a few places for worships and commerce like the Angkor Wat, Borobudur and the industrial area/port in Lembah Bujang/Merbok in Kedah.
