Another piece of sculpture that shows your incredible craftsmanship. The video was great too! I especially loved the sounds of the birds outside your workshop in the beginning. It reminded me that it’s coming into summer where you are, not winter like us (getting 40” (100 cm) of snow this past week!) I hope you have a great holiday season there, and that your finger continues healing up well!

Yes it's finally getting warmer and I have to apologize for the finger, I tried to cover it in the video but forgot about it many times (didn't want to gross anyone out), those Japanese knives are very sharp indeed, nine stitches!

An individual has accomplished something truly meaningful in his or her life when their pursuits and creations are never "just good enough or mediocre". The creativity and skill in your mind and hands is clearly evident in your creations and are far from just mediocre. The "Force" is with you. Kudos & Peace

Thank you. When my wife suggested that a clock could be my next project I immediately laughed it off, but after some reflection I thought, just because it's simple doesn't mean it's not worthwhile putting my own spin on it. Speaking of simple my next project will have just three parts and be ridiculously simple;)

@@AttilasWorkshop With all the censorship of any political dissent from what YT considers "correct political speech" is very troubling. There are, and continues to be, demonitizations on loads of other topics that seem innocuous but are malicious in their eating away at basic free speech. I'm not advocating for any creators to just up and move, but if you could find the time and the other platform(s) to be worth posting, I'd love to continue to watch your content. Very nice work, as allways. But I can't stress this enough: NEVER work with gloves on rotating machines (bandsaw included). This is one of the most dangerous things you can do in a workshop. Please take this advice seriously. Instead of getting a little cut in the hand, a saw will grab the glove and pull your hole hand into the blade, same with drills and stuff.
@AttilasWorkshop
@AttilasWorkshop 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I need to wear gloves when cutting small metal parts on the bandsaw otherwise I can't hold them, the parts get too hot. Same with polishing and disc sanding. In the video I wear an oversize glove on my left hand while using the wood lathe because I just recently had an operation on my left hand and the bandage would not fit into my usual tight gloves. However I generally agree with you and only use gloves when I have to.
