I am with you doc, I stay off the news completely- it REALLY pisses me off since it is totally controlled and intended to create fear, which equals stress. I bought the book when you recommended it previously.

I’m on the second time listening to this book on audio, I listen while I walk or run. So much good advice in that book. Basically it has helped me to take on the attitude of no matter how much I worry about something is “the sun will come up tomorrow and the world will continue on”, gives a great perspective of how small we truly are in the scope of everything!!! Live your life the best you can, change and control what you can and accept the rest!! This book has great examples of worrying actually making people seriously ill!! As always thank for doing what you do, and saying what you say!!

Exactly! The world will go on and I am sick of being told we are at the end of the world. Very, very sad that people believe that.

Yes! Yes! omg YES! i have been telling ppl this for Decades. i also am convinced your attitude has a Direct impact on anal cancer...people think i'm joking when i tell em being an anal retentive person will Greatly increase their risk for that cancer...but it's True...the body tries to accommodate the mind...bad attitude is the underlying vehicle for a plethora of maladies

I've moved to the Philippines reduced my stress, but my blood pressure is still acting up. But, climate is much hotter, and a smaller selection of foods. Plus, alot of the mixed information, I avoided some of the common foods when I first got here. But, I've opened my mind a little, example, saturated fat is a problem, only if it's out of balance with other fats

Great video Doc ….best advice, don’t watch TV especially the news and adverts/ commercials. Funny thing is we are all different….some people worry about this …others worry about that and some worry about everything ! Juggling life ain’t easy but you’ve got to face it if you worry or if you don’t . Just off to do a quick 2 kilometres 👍

It's so easy to write a book to stop worrying and start living when such authors do not have any issues to worry about. Unfortunately, people like me have tremendous weight on my shoulders, and I cannot think of any way to stop worrying. Unless if anything changes I would have this weight on my shoulders for the rest of my life.

The book reminds me of the alternate title of the "Dr. Strangelove" movie from 1964. Everyone get that? People can be total imbeciles with how easily they get offended over un-PC talk. For that matter, most of them have probably not read older books.
