I disagree. Diabetes is caused by long term consumption of wheat. Stay away from bread even if its wholemeal bread. The gluten and gliadin in wheat slowly destroys the beta cells in your pancreas over time to cause diabetes. I have been a Type 2 diabetic for the past 27 years and all of the 7 siblings including my parents became diabetic as they were consuming the Indian Chapatti bread made from wheat. Besides sugar, wheat is one of the worst foods to put in your mouth. The problem is that the wheat plant has been hybridized. The original wheat plant has 4 grams of gluten but the hybridized one has 20 grams of gluten. Its a joke that the scientist who hybridized wheat was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Bread also causes one to lose teeth. There are 5 types of fungus in wheat with the black fungus being deadly and daily consumption of wheat even causes the sickness schizophrenia. A diabetic who has lost a leg and still consumes bread will lose the other leg and may have to undergo kidney dialysis, become blind and be bound to the wheelchair for the rest of his life. Stay away from a high carbohydrate diet, rice, sugar and exercise daily to be healthy. I am surviving on a 80% carnivore and 20% food from lentils, nuts and seeds which have been soaked overnight to remove the phytic acid and pressure cooked. A diabetic must avoid fruits as the sugar fructose in fruits will cause affect the mitochondria and cause inflammation in the body.

It was -10 degrees so I was all bundled-up. Being almost frozen, I swung by a Costa to grab a large cappuccino making me a little late. Jumped in the car and sped off towards the Doctors; fortunately managed to shake off the police while doing 70 in a 30. Parked the car on a double yellow, jumped out of the car and sprinted towards the entrance hardly noticing the Doberman Pinscher snapping at my heels. Elevator being broke I bounded up the ten flights of stairs and straight into the surgery. Not bad for a 70 year old 400 pound fella. I needed to pee but no time. Slumped across the desk, legs crossed, arms dangling, the collar was slipped over my coat: boy was it tight. The Doc chose my right arm as I’d just lit-up and I’m a left handed smoker. Thoughtful of him but boy could that man talk. Soon, my one minute slot had flown by. My result? 75 / 40.

Lol number 10. I saw a Dr do 7 of these wrong to my brother. Typical 1/2 trained Indian doctor. I bought a monitor for him because he has been on 32mg and now he added another 20mg of another medication. I made a chart for him but now there are 3 things you reminded of. Cheers. BTW a Indian Dr took my brothers reading 190/120 she said it was normal. I demand she d removed and she was. Too many phony Drs flooding Australia.

Niacin causes release of prostaglandins which causes CV endothelial cells to release nitrous oxide (NO2). I take the amount that causes a slight tingling (but not the flush) that way I know the CV is relaxing and allowing blood to flow to areas poorly infused with blood. I do this two or three times a day. Remember, all these things this podcaster listed are accumulative.

I knew a “resident” from a nursing home that had also lost both legs due to Diabetes. He rode around in an electric wheelchair in army fatigues and usually motored himself to a nearby shopping center to elicit $ and sympathy! ❤️🩹

Diabetics don't need to lose their vision, kidney function or their legs. I've been a Type 1 diabetic for well over 50 years. I was diagnosed back in 1968. I've had some great doctors and I have devoted a lot of time and energy learning about the disease and controlling my blood glucose levels using a combination of insulin and diet. And, guess what? I still have my vision, kidney function and my legs. It takes a lot of time and effort but if you manage the disease you can live into your late 70s like me. Good luck.

I was strict keto for 5 years before it was a fad. As a result I developed slightly high fasting glucose. Low testosterone and my competitive running suffered. I looked like I lived in a concentration camp. I changed to 250 grams of healthy carbs. 200 grams of protein and 30 grams of fat. Very low sat fat. After going to higher carbs everything improved greatly. And I now enjoy food again.

Yay! Glad to see this. Have you heard of the Glucose Goddess? She goes a step further and suggests to eat the fibrous veggies first, then the protein and fat, and then the carb/sugar last, and that will prevent insulin spikes. Apparently there are studies of people eating exactly the same foods but one group eating in that order and the other group eating however they want, and the ones eating the veggies first and carbs last have the least insulin spikes. The fibrous veggies sort of create a layer that buffers the sugars from entering the system too fast. (My layperson description😅) Like you, she also says to have protein or fiber with the carbs (if you can't separate them), or do a little mini salad first. And another trick is to mix 1T apple cider vinegar into a glass of water 20 minutes before the meal... I forget what the action of the ACV is, but anyway... When I heard this concept, it made so much sense to me because for years, I've had a problem where I get what I call a carb/ adrenaline rush if I have certain carbs on an empty stomach. It often snowballed into an anxiety attack, which sucks. My A1C is creeping up so I need to keep up these habits and exercise more, and work on my sweet tooth. Thanks for the great tips, doc!

With All due respect to you as a Doctor of Chiro, I was very surprised on your level of judgement toward other healthcare workers. I appreciate chiropractors and actually defend them when others are judgmental toward your field of expertise. That being said, please do not call nurses idiots. We obviously aren't idiots or we wouldn’t have gotten through nursing school and boards. This is where your helpful teaching can come in and help others with your knowledge. For some reason they may not have learned this or possibly had forgotten. If a patient has a nurse or nursing assistant that is not doing something correctly, the pt. needs to speak up and ask questions. I have been a registered nurse for 37 years and a nursing instructor for more than 6 years. We teach a blood pressure and vital sign lab and teach to take the persons bp in their non dominant arm. Also, to compare blood pressures in each arm. Also,as you said, we avoid any fistulas, post mastectomy, surgeries or any pain they may have in that extremity. One important thing you did not cover was to make sure the cuff fits properly. If you have a larger or smaller arm, after measuring the circumference with a measuring tape, you will have to use a smaller (pediatric) or larger cuff. The cuff has measurements on the inside. Thank you for your video and consideration of my comment.

Loved the video, Shared it with my wife who was pre diabetic and on meds but has through eating right and exercise has been taken off meds. But I also recently saw that modern Western medicine is due mostly to Rockefeller, who back in the day sent money to Doctor who would promote his OIL based Pharma products and was influential in stopping food based health system by calling it "quackery" and having Doctor offices closed and in some cases Doctor were put in jail for not using his oil based products? He also open schools to promote his medicines and when a few years went by and it was deemed his pills were causing Cancer, His propaganda machine , went to work and he Started a Cancer society by throwing money at it. Thus establishing dominance on the meds given , the doctors being taught and If you were 1 on the unfortunates to get Cancer he also made money caring for you as you , back then, Died. So Now with everyone trying to stay well, We eat right and Exercise, only to find our foods are sprayed and are being recalled at a alarming rate. So than we decide to grow our own food, which to sustain yourself, unless you live on a farm you cannot do effectively. So again you get sick and you go back to the doctors who have been told the medicines that kept most of the known world alive for centuries before western civilization deemed it "quackery"! Prescribe what I am calling "the Rockefeller solution" . I hope this term grows as quickly as my "Trumps Terror-Iffs" Slogan is taking off here in Canada. Thanks again Doc, Love your video's.

Are you trying to say Dr. Dubbie quit to make more money on You Tube? It is cynical when you are not that strong on really the hopeless SYSTEM, even not at human level, which is worst while Medical System should first be Empathy (no not sympatchy) and the VALUVE of "human" life LOT MORE than MONEY yes. Yes make money, but not at the cost of human well being and LIFE. No no.

I'm sure not all doctors are bad, but the majority of them are. If you don't have text book symptoms, they are not going to take the time to figure it out. I'm convinced all they treat is high BP, cholesterol and diabetes. Anything else requires a specialist who knows even less than an MD. By the way stop defending them. I was around when doctors actually used their heads instead of a pharmaceutical manual.
