Hi Phil, great work on the videos, I am very fascinated with them. I just got wind of them through your botfly video which was even more interesting to me, as well as gross (no offense to the botfly). I wanted to ask you a question since you seem to be getting to work with all these creatures thanks to your job as a tropical biologist: What did you study and/or work before getting your research job that qualified you for the spot? I'm currently studying Biology for a bachelor's at my uni in Germany and, especially in my country, I'm finding it surprisingly difficult to find any good or unique potential future jobs in my field that actually accept graduates of Biology. Would your job be a possibility for me with the subject I'm studying? Or do I have change to a related but more qualifying degree such as in molecular biology or biotechnology? Best regards
