One of my favorite weapons in Star Citizen is Attrition Repeaters. This weapons are Powerful and Beautiful. Today we are going to test F7A Hornet mk 2 with Attrition Repeaters, full Attrition and mixed loadout in Star Citizen 3.23.

When you use energy weapons only a strat is to have them split up on 2 triggers and fire them seperately from each other. That way you can keep shooting so their shields cant recover

You are fast becoming my fave sc guy. I use all laser cannons on my f7a with all power to wepons i think i get 9 shots. But you can easily take down erts. Also speed of the weapon projectile is important. I always try to keep the weapon speeds in check if im mixing my load out always have weapons that fire at similar speeds

They do but not as before. They give you more capacitors and still go through the shields but less.

@@damaddmann lag, desync and there is a bug if the pip is not green sometimes shoot is not registered even if you land a shoot.

1st rule of thumb when dogfighting, wait until you are under 1K range to start firing. Just a tip. At longer range you are just wasting your ammo

Check your weapon ranges. Some can shoot well beyond 1k.

Not true. Depends on ammo type, laser cannons have insane range, in a Corsair, I can kill a gladius at about 3.5km lol

@@jacobhazlett3828 You will be more affective at much closer range. If you are fighting PVP your capacitors will be charging once your enemy is in range and tearing you up.

Dont rlly like running multiple guns tbh just go all lasers or all balistics of the same gun u dont have to aim 2 weapons cuz for example ur lasers will be hittng and ur balistica not

Let's see guys , attrition are the worst weapons to use against pvp or small ships because have a very small projectile velocity, if you want mix pvp pve omnisky are the best, if you want pvp focus on Panthers, rhino etc, and tarantulas or mantis for ballistic,for pve and big targets like ERTs the Mseries laser canon and deadbolt are the kings, in this patch the mix of laser and ballistic works very good, but if you only want pvp check in erkul for the highest projectile velocity weapons and use only one type of guns

Do not ever mix weapons with different velocities. When you pull the trigger you should have an accuracy of 90% or more

Have you tried 2 size 4 CF-447 Rhino laser repeaters and 4 size 3 NDB-30 neutron repeaters on the F7A Hornet MK 2?

Attrition has always been underrated and nerf. I think they should be above or even match with canon and top ballistics.

They are currently the most powerful of the repeaters, and with their fire rate + high damage, they are nearly on the level of cannons right now.

On F7A mk II I'm going with 4xbroadswords for the ball and nose, 2xRhinos for the wings. The broadswords can be changed with Tarantulas for a bit more dmg but I like their hp since they don't get destroyed if I get hit by missile. Rhinos also have a good 3k range if someone decides to run away :) if the goal will be to have all cannons, I'll change the Rhinos with Omnis.

And that's why my friend when You try to go anything higher than MRT You need to have full power to shields if You choose to go with something like Hornet. I take full deadbolt loadout on Hornet any day, so I can have my shields longer than 3 seconds in the fight.

Currently running F7A MKII with 2 deadbolt 4's and 4 attrition 3's with Rattler 2's i like shaking the tree

attrition ammo travel speed is kinda low and would be really strong against medium or larger ships. Sadly, in PVP, it would not do. I really do love a full ballistic loadout since there's a really small capacitor size on this ship with 4 shredders and 2 revenants for smaller target. Try it out and tell me what you think about that!

I had that problem last night, where you just lose ship control but everything is powered. Was just flying down to Hurston and lost all control of ship, for no apparent reason whatsoever. I had some armour I would have liked to keep in the ship inventory but had no choice but to exit game as ship was just slowing falling toward the ground. Game is good!

Servers had been always this bad since 3.22 I never had this 30+ fps server people were talking of in rumors. Always only below 5fps servers... The game can be as beautiful als it can be, but when server will be always this bad, the game will never be fun....

I just played for 2 h on a 25 fps server it was scary. All the NPCS are deadly and the game is so smooth. o7

@@infinitespace239 I guess this was a special Eptu - server for Influencers? They don't seem to care about normal PU - Servers... maybe they should let this bottles despawn after a while . Could be the fix ....

Isn't the cannon Omnisky better than repeater Attrition?

Yes, for PVE and depends on ship size.. and weapons sizes, no when you want more PVP and PVE, that is the place where Attritions shine 🫡

Attrition repeaters are worst right now because of slow projectile speed (1000 m\s vs 1800 on CF series and 1400 on NDB series) plus they have slower fire rate, better stick to 2x4 revenant ballistic gattlings on wings and 4x NDB-30 on turrets. This way you will get approx same projectile velocity speed have enough capacitor on repeaters to put pressure and extra punch from ballistics.

I've only tried the yellowjackets but based on my experience of those, how the hell would you ever have enough ammo to kill things with ballistic gatlings?

@@DGneoseeker1 idk if you have played recently or not but size 4 ballistic gattling has 2000 ammo. Which translates to 63.000 points of damage (with -50% resist) from 2x gattlings you get 126k of damage. Only tankiest of ships could outlive this dmg + you have laser repeaters or laser cannons. Try not to shoot through shields too much and use ballistics mostly when shields are down or low because shield reduce balistics damage.

@@Zayackanibal Ah that's certainly an improvement on the 300 or so rounds you get with the size one gatling. Is there any ship which imitates the A-10 Avenger and has a size 4 cannon down the centre?

@@DGneoseeker1 probably ares inferno (1 size 7 bespoke ballistic gattling) or vanguard warden (4x2 size 2 guns + size 5 gun on the nose)
