Hi, I'm closing in on 60 and my husband is handicapped, which means I'm the chief doitall. With your assistance, I'm heading out to install the acid into the battery, and then the battery into the quad, but I will be doing it with confidence! Then to plow the driveway. Thank you for your video!

Always and I do mean always good video. Informative content and presented In format with nothing of profanity. I love Kevins channel simply because what you hear is what you get. I know viewers who have met Kevin and Julie. Kevin thanks for all you do. May God bless you for years to come.

Just bought this exact battery from Autozone. Asked the worker if I needed to add the acid myself, and he said no that was extra. I've been working on my bike all day following wires everywhere wondering why I still have no power. So frustrating, all I needed to do was setup the battery. I'll stick with O'Reillys, they just didn't have the battery I needed....

Kevin, thanks for another good video. I didn’t know you could buy dry batteries anymore. I get mine at the auto parts store and they are already charged and ready to go. I am lucky to get one season out of my mower battery and I use a trickle charger too.

Well that is interesting, I've never seen a battery that comes with the acid separate. I guess it can't discharge on the shelf if it's not flooded, a great idea!

Odd now to see a battery come dry. It was normal 35 + years ago but just seems odd now. I just had one come in that was already loaded. Odd to have any reg. Joe do this. Great setup though. I have a solar panel on the ones sitting around like the house generator. It made it 10 years before needing to have the battery changed.

Do you have to replace the acid?
@jonnu77720006 ай бұрын
Question. I put a new battery in my 4 wheeler doing this same process but I accidentally changed the battery in deep cell mode on my charger. Will that damage my new battery? I had it on trickle charge but in deep cell mode instead of regular mode.
@Robinson-Homestead6 ай бұрын
It should be okay. Trinkle charge would be better though thanks.
@jonnu77720006 ай бұрын
@@Robinson-Homestead yes it was on the 2 amp trickle charge but in the regular mode. Thinks. I guess time will tell lol

Hi Kevin. Here in the UK it is now illegal to supply or buy dry batteries with supplied acid unless you hold a licence which allows you to store and use poisons and explosives. Best wishes Pete.

That sounds like the UK nanny state. Must protect people from themselves.

Kevin, when I saw the tailgatertiretable on CheapRVliving I thought for $140. that seemed expensive, but you could make that "with improvements" for far less, just for your family, of course. It's Bob's latest video.
