These where pretty reliable years for the Rangers (in my opinion and based on my 'limited' knowledge;-) Keep it maintained and watch the belt. If it hasn't been replaced yet, replace it. And remember to use low range when in rough terrain or pulling loads.

my uncle has 1 with a brush gaurd. i drove it around this last weekend. there r so fun. and im 5'5 and i dont have a problem with the height of the stearing wheel, or the distance from the pedals. i also dont mind the parking brake.

@Codman618 I guess that depends on what you mean by a 'regular' ATV trail? They certainly won't fit on the 50" ATV trails. Only a RZR will do that. Plus they are pretty wide for anything other than the more regular trails.

Do you still recomend buying one of these 2004. I can get one for 4500 and it is very clean. It is a 500 4x4. What is the chance this thing is going to break down on me.

Well, at least the people there are rather nice about it. I have what seems to me as a rather 'old school' opinion of things - they should work properly ;-)
