The weep hole on the water pump by the oil seal, is it for water or oil to come out? Which seal would be leaking if something comes out of it. Thanks great video

I have 2014 Arctic Cat 700cc TRV which recently started to overheat. Also, fan stopped working. Changed the Temp. sensor, changed the thermostat, changed the spark plug too. After that fan run for short period of time and stopped. Then my ATV started to overheat again. Fuses are a OK, relays seamed to be OK too. This ATV has only 460 km and the radiator is clean as well. Oil has been changed after first 150 km and it was driven mostly on the grassy trails. It is fairly clean. So, what else can be wrong with it?

Once again I used your videos for my bike... I had to tear out the rad and clean it, plus replace the fan temp sensor...you mentioned in one video you used to have some performance stuff on yours...have you ever played with the jets in the carb?

I added a rad relocation kit to my Honda rancher. I filled rad with coolant and rode it a little and my coolant gauge stayed normal but since my rad is on to now I can feel the tubes... how hot should the tubes be getting

2016 Arctic Cat 700 TRV... i have intermittent P0116 code (engine overheat) code flashing on my display. My rad is clean, not all gunked up. My fan comes on also. If I let it idle or shut it off the code goes away. Can you help me troubleshoot? Is there a way to see the engine temp on the display?

Help!!! My 2004 arctic cat 500 is overheating. The fan won’t come on. I tested the fan directly and it works so my next thought is the sensor switch on the bottom of the radiator, does that sound correct?
@josephjquintero83258 жыл бұрын
how do you get air out of the radiator hose i just change the radiator hose and it is not feeding in coolant

How do you remove the outer plastic shell of your ATV. I have the exact same machine that keeps overheating. Fan doesn't turn on. I already replaced the radiator switch but that wasn't the problem.
@arberfilms59983 жыл бұрын
Replace the fuse, or change the battery.

Hey man did your quad come with the pull start or did you add it on after? I've got a 07 650 TRV LE (the black one) and it didnt come factory with one but would love to add it...I'm assuming one could be installed on my bike....love your DIY vids
@BackCountryWrenching11 жыл бұрын
mine came with the pull start but it's really useless, the engine is so hard to pull over it feels like your shoulder is gonna get ripped out. one can be installed quite easy i'm sure you'd just need the special collar and the pull start and your set. there will be a whole bunch more arctic cat videos in the next few weeks.

Andy Lloyd BS is right, I have a 03 Grizz, and I am 6'4 and 270 and I could not possibly pull start this monster, maybe if they had a decompression switch, but it aint happening

Ernie K so true i can only pull mine once it's on the compression stroke that way i don't put my back out, even then i need to stand on the foot rests and put all my strength in it

I ended up getting the recoil kit from my local Cat dealer, and installed it about 4 months ago. Once you find the sweet spot it fires pretty easy, but the first time I did it I almost broke my damn wrist. I actually got it to fire up bone cold at -20 C with a good prime

Hi I have a 05 yamaha grizzly 660 that it overheat after a Lil long ride and idk wat it is the radiator is clean from the outside and the thermostat is a Lil bended wat can I do to fix it? And how about if I remove the thermostat?
@zokonjazokonja4 жыл бұрын
Why not just remove thermostat and keep constant coolant flow? Are ATV engines sensitive if they are driven on lower engine temperature?
@91cb72 жыл бұрын
If your just moving hot coolant flow the entire time it woln’t ever cool the engine down. The thermostat is used to stop coolant flow momentarily to let the radiator and coolant inside cool down before entering the engine
@zokonjazokonja2 жыл бұрын
@@91cb7 I don't agree, you say that there would not be heat transfer if coolant circulate constantly? heat transfer working without problem with constant flow, in that case it is even highest heat transfer.

@BackCountryWrenching11 жыл бұрын
could be a blown headgasket pressuring up the coolant system and blowing it out. could be a blockage somewhere, bad water pump
@evanlastdogman247111 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! how do i check if rad is blocked ? Empty out and blow air through? And wayer pump am I looking for bad impeller or what?
@BackCountryWrenching11 жыл бұрын
i would just run water though the rad, inspect the hoses and water pump. i'd still be leaning towards a blown head gasket but i'd check the simple things first
@mattsmith6828 Жыл бұрын
I might be done with kawasaki, honestly. I have looked all over it and haven't found a single zerk (grease) fitting ANYWHERE. The center and slip yokes are a joke. Such a small space that it makes it impossible to use any u-joint with a zerk fitting. Maybe they didn't do this with the KRX, but the Teryx/Tery4's are just designed to make them money. Should have done more research and gone with a RZR or something else. Also, there's almost NO aftermarket for the Teryx.

if a person had a concern they could certainly change it or put some some sort of gasket maker on it. There is a million ways to do a job a person can do whatever they wish
