Hey man! I’ve been researching running shoes (for walking) for the last month. I’ve bought literally 30 pairs of shoes to try and return. I’m a size 14 with wide feet so I have a helluva time. Just wanted to drop a line because I appreciate your content so much. Your production quality is phenomenal and I love your old school camera tricks! Also love your personality. One suggestion - just quickly mention in every review if you think the shoe would be a good walker or not. You’d be shocked how hard it is to find reviews that aren’t solely focused on running. I added to my rotation also though I am a walker only I do walk 10 to 15 miles every day and so far today I took it to the mall shopping all day and it was great no leg or foot pain and no fatigue like I got in the invincible run 2s and 3s! they nailed it this time as I think this is their only comfy shoe out of the three I have.

awesome review! mine are arriving in the mail tomorrow... I'm really pumped! suffering from lateral foot nerve pain for over a year and 2 months after double stress fracture + cuboid dislocation ... every new pair of shoes gives me hope! but i've got a gut feeling this one is going to be helpful! fingers crossed.

Love your videos.. Your review of the Monster got me hooked on your channel.. I actually bought the X 2years ago for a gym shoe, light running , and long walking.. Started getting more serious about running and have the V3, Invincible2, Monster, Nova blast3 and just recently picked up the Gel nimbus25.. Next on my list is the Surfer.. Love your channel. I'm a bit of a heavy muscular guy like you 5'11 235lbs and your opinions about shoes really helped me .. I'm a really bad runner trying to become average.. Yeah I have the treadmill in the garage and it gets super cold in there so I warm up in them and then start running. They are actually yoga ones from MP.com but feel/look amazing and better than their jogging ones. Please let me know how you get on with them

Re the top of the shoe, I had the same issue with the Adios pro 3 ( where the eyelets are set ripped the skin at the top of my metatarsophalangeal joint). Very glad you brought this up. Tesco test just magic.

Great review - thank you. I always go up half a size in On and Hoka (9.5 to 10) just because a UK 9.5 in On is only 28cm (whereas, for instance a Saucony/Nike is 28.5cm), and a size 10 is a 28.5. Did you have any stability issues that some reviewers have found?

Absolutely, the cushioning is great. There are definitely other endless options of you look but couldn’t fault these at all.

My two cents, I think they feel different, can't say which is better myself. I think the order you try them on matters somehow. I have the Nike invincible 1 (still new) and went to a shop to try both the Nimbus 25 and the the Cloudsurfer 7. First I tried the On and I did like it a lot, its midsole really feels diferent to other shoes (in a welcome way). Then I tried the Nimbus 25 but I think my mind was already set to compare its feel with the invincible, not the On. And compared to the Invincible the Nimbus (though still great) comes second. It's more stable than the Invincible but less plush/bouncy. So I would take the On for the novelty (and looks/fashion) and skip the Nimbus (since I have the Invincible). Though for actual running I also got the Puma Deviate Nitro 2 which to me feels better than all of them, it just does, a perfect combo of cushioning and firmness and the upper, oh that upper is the best that has ever hugged my feet:) (Supposedly it's not for wide-footed people, but for normal feet it's just perfection).

It’s highly subjective and personal to many people. For me personally, the upsizing was a must. I went up half a size and that sorted it

Absolutely but only if pace is not the objective. You would need something a bit more punchier if you’re going for pace because this daily trainer wouldn’t give you the return of energy that you need for speed
