On Cloud Monster Hyper Review: Worth the £210?

I think the biggest problem with the price is that it would be compared to super trainers with a plate that you can use for anything. It might be good, but for that money I would expect more than a non-plated lighter version of an existing shoe.

I'm a big fan of On's recent output, Cloudsurfer, Cloud Eclipse and I'm sure that this shoe will be very well engineered and great to run in but I just feel there are shoes out there that are much cheaper and can do the same thing. It's even more expensive than the Superblast and that is a stunning shoe! Another superb video though my friend!

This is the challenge with this shoe. If you love the monster shoes, you will definitely love this shoe but the price will present a challlenge to many people.

I've noticed that prob since the 1st vaporfly next%, all the supershoes have been giving more big-toe area a bit more space, for increased "push-off" im guessing.

I love running shoes and have many brands and models. I really struggled with On running shoes, until I tried them! I feel in love with the monster 1, I use the surfer 7 as my daily training and now the Eclipse as my long run shoe. I’m doing my first marathon (aiming for 4:30, so slow and tried to find a non plated, responsive shoe to run it in. The Superblast didn’t work for me but I thinking this might….if only I had £210😢

I love this one cause it is not too wide overall but still fits my hammertoes 😂 AND when sprinting or doing intervals or hill sprints or tempo training on mid to forefoot it gives back so much energy!

Dude the upper on this shoe is so premium. I am not an ON guy and honestly I prob won’t buy them. But I was impressed with the upper on this shoe when I tried it on in store. Might even be better than the gel nimbus 25/26 upper (which is saying something).

Nice review ! I still think that Monster 2 looks cooler than the Monster Hyper. But I'm more inclined now to get the Hyper as my next On running shoes when I need to replace my Stratus 3 or Eclipse . I wonder if ON has any plans to make a Cloud Stratus Hyper ?! It would be like a Mini Monster Hyper !

Great review. If you have a foot that has a wide front foot and has a podo sole and fast heel pain. So need enough stability but cushion. And want to have a fore ward roll to prevent the long strike on the heel. Want to do 5-15km running would you go then for the hyper or cloud monster or stratus. I do have cloud runner buth they great for daily walking or long runs I quess but very stable but less cushion and the eclipse where very unstable for me. Hope you can give your opinion.
