OMG, you guys are so positive despite the rubbish weather in my home city! You guys would love it in "normal" summer weather. When u return to the city of sails, get yourselves out to the Hauraki Gulf. Rangitoto is amazing, (Erupted just 600 years ago) and so is Waiheke island with its vineyards, cafes, and Tiri Tiri with its regenerated native bush and birdlife...

I did a food tour in Wellington back when I worked on a cruise ship, and I’ll never forget it 😅 literally one of the best tours I’ve ever done, so can’t wait to go back and also for Craig to experience it 🤗

If you guys are planning on travelling around nz over the next year, get yourself one of those coupon discount books. Covers everything from high end hotels to hire vehicles to restaurants and everything in between. They used to cost about 100 dollars but you only have to use it once or twice and you save that and more. From then on you save heaps. Sorry I can’t remember the name of the book. Quite thick and full of bargains. We visited Rotorua and had a fantastic hotel from the book and saved so much. 😊

Korean fried chicken I dont normally recommend cos its just unseasoned battered chicken covered in sauce, whereas my tastes in Auckland I go straight for the chicken salt on the chicken

Wow still raining. I had 4 weeks there from mid December to mid January. First two weeks were awesome, in Auckland, one week in Kerikeri that was mud, and the last week in Auckland, yep....more rain. Glad to be back in Brizzy and the sunshine 🌞 😳 By the way Happiest of birthdays.👍
