On Wednesday 22 May in assembly, the student body was treated to a fantastic performance from the Korean Cultural Group, playing the Nanta Drums. Nanta is a traditional style of drumming dramatizing the rhythms of Samulnori using the traditional Korean barrel drum called Buk. It sounds like a heartbeat and combined with energetic performance style, it resonates the Korean-American heritage and spirit.
It sure was a great way to start the day! #grammarpride
