Perfect example of looking past the rust. When I saw a double frame truck I would always try for them. I didn’t care what was mounted on them because it would come off and a digger derrick would get remounted on the truck. I found a load of rental box trucks with double frames. When I bought 12 of them people took a second look and saw what I saw.

That was a given with our lowboy & tag trailer both back in the day. If the lowboy & tag trailer wasn't swept off my dad & grandfather, both would hand you a push broom. It was all about being as safe as possible .

thank you Clint, like all your videos, and yes I would like to see you working some of the gear you have bought over on your new block or land. That army dumper looks like it had some sort of spreader box on it as well, that always comes in handy. We used to modify those so they would just feed out one side, great for people who need to fill in a lot of trenches etc, or are just laying a narrow strip of seal for road widenings etc.

Loved the auction an can't wait to see you use your 900 series dump. I have one an haul a little bit of everything on it. Built mine from a 931 5th wheel truck an put a 800 series bed on it. I deleted the original hydraulics an used all the 900 series hydraulics. The only trouble I had was after extending the headache cab protector up 6 Inches it hits my cab corners if I get into driving over an angle but other than that a great truck! Love your channel try not to miss an episode!

nice job floatin' those gears brother, I used to drive an old Kenny that had the 12spd with the 3 shifters, it ran the 3 sets of 4, I'im sure you know if you missed just one gear you will not recover, you had to pull over and start again, "what syncro" lol It had a 100'HD skyhook crane on it with a tandem and a drop axle, I used to avoid the weigh stations like they were the plague, A big ol' turd going 70 mph down hill, and 35 going up, I'm just now checking out your channel, I'm really digging what you guys do, I think I will hang around to see what happens next, My name is Keith from Cleveland Ohio, nice to meet ya!

friend said re checking oil, Pinch the oil on the dipstick, If its sticky, its laced with STP oil treatment to try and stop smoking for 1/2 hr. and put a lighter to the oil, he said if there is antifreeze in the oil, the oil will spit on the dipstick.
