you wouldnt have to but because the drain plug is plastic you would probably benefit from getting under there and changing it because it would probably leak over time.

There is an easy way to change the oil on Audi cars. Actually, the dealers do it like this, and you don't need to throw yourself under the car. Buy an Oil Extractor machine. It will pull out all the oil from the top using the hole of the dipstick lever.
