AUDI A3 Sportback 2020 - evening POV test drive (PURE DRIVING) 35 TFSI S Line

New feature on the channel - EVENING drive of the test cars! This way you get the best of both worlds (day & night), as you can see the beautiful ambient lights and also it's still very bright so you can see the full details of interior.
We are starting with the "evening drive" feature with the new Audi A3 Sportback 2020 model. Car is paired with 150 HP petrol engine and 6-speed manual (35 TFSI). Name of the color is Turbo Blue, and car has S Line pack (both inside and outside) and sport suspension.
Also, you can see the digital plus cockpit in action with different views.

Salut Crospotter13, Hell of a video on this beauty you have there! Helped a lot on choosing this model. Still have one criteria to settle with though... If you had to pick the colour again, would you stay with this turbo blue or would you go with the mythos black with all black logos? I can't decide myself!

Thanks a lot nice to hear this :) Personally I am a huge fan of black, and I mydelf have a black on black 2019 MINI Cooper, so would go for black. This turbo blue looks maybe a bit more flashy at the start, but black in long term would be better in my opinion. However, for black you do need to clean it all the time to look good (I have ceramic coating on mine) where this blue is much easier to clean and the dirt can’t be seen that much Soo what will it be? 😀😅

@@crospotter13 Wow thx for your great intakes! At the start I was 100% convinced with the all black. But thenew angle and shaped of this A3 seems better revealed with a colour than the "uniform" black and I must admit when I saw your turbo blue... was in trouble then. Amazing beautiful blue and quite distinguished among all those black. So because you create this dilemna, seems fair to ask you to also solve it ;) Also taking into account that the black would be great also in long term, but may be easier to get dirty, would the daytona grey a good alternative?

@@Yeunh77 thanks glad you enjoyed all the video with the car :) Daytona grey would be my choice probably, because combined with black pack it gives a great contrast, and also you don't see the dirt on that color and it's much easier to clean :) So I think that that's an awesome choice for colors as you get the looks and pracitcality in terms of cleaning

Its a plug-in hybride with 204hp. Color is white. And a black Panorama roof and the privaty glasses . Looks realy good in the configuration

I ordered my A3 Limousine 35 TFSI with Business Evolution packets back in December and the contract said "delivery on 22 March" but they just warned a couple weeks ago the production is slowed down due to covid so it could take some more until late spring...

The new A3 vs the new BMW 1 series. What would be your pick? I have the A3 2019 model. I will chose between these two cars in 1.5 years when my current leasingplan is finished.

hmm, a tough one I must say, as those 2 cars would also make it to my top 2 choices in this class. And it's hard to tell which one is better as it comes to personal taste. In Croatia you can get a better deal in terms of finance with BMW so that would be my choice probably. But if they were on the same level in terms of financing would be a hard choice. Audi has better interior and more fancy look of ambient lights and digital cockpit is much better here. But BMW has better build quality inside (but not as flashy, you can almost say it's rather standard interior when compared to this or A-Class). Exterior design - both are great, especially in S Line / M Sport trim, I am leaning toward the BMW in terms of design though. Drivin aspect - I would say BMW is a little bit better for sporty driving, but on everyday usage there's no difference as both are great driver focused cars. So you can't go wrong really :) Which spec/engine did you have in mind? I did a review of both cars with all the details (you can watch in on the channel, for example here is the driving POV of the BMW: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWasgIiDrJl_fdE) There are also many videos on both the new A3 and new 1 Series (POV night drive, ambient lights details etc so just search it on my channel and you'll find it. depends on what you want in car and what are you used to in cars. For me I would choose more powerful engine to be honest, but for an average buyer this is more than enough

Yes there is. It is actually like that because of the parking icons, as soon as you remove them it’s much better and more clear. Also when navigation is turned on it is more zoomed in so less icons appear :)

Slazem se 😀 auto je stvarno top, gust za vozit i izgleda jako mocno u prometu. Infotainment jednostavan, klims na komande, sve u svemu pravi vozacki auto. Sto se tice cijene to je zapravo jedini minus, jer kad ga se ovako natrpa opremom ovaj je recimo 46.000 €. Naravno moguce je uzet slabije opremljeni pa je manja cijena, pocetna cijena za novi A3 je oko 28.000€

Yeah the steering wheel really doesn't match the interior. It's a great looking steering wheel, but not for this generation A3. The previous generation had a lot of round shapes in the interior. This new generation has a lot of sharp curves, so it really doesn't work.

I am looking for the consumption in inner city and open road for this car. My old A4 TFSI B8 1.8 2009 model,upgraded to 291 hp, consumes 11-12 Lt/100 km in the city traffic and 7.8 in highway with 120 km/h speed .With 60-80 km/h burns 6.8 Lt/100 km!! Is it worth with the todays cars??

This one (1,5 tfsi) consumes about 8l in traffic and 4,5l when you drive around 80 kmh

Default screen is around 10 inches, this one is Virtual Cockpit plus which is around 12 inches

It's S-line (high-option) so new would cost around 40 000 USD. Lower specs you could buy for about 30 000 USD

Really not a problem, I have been driving a similar car for 1.5 years now and I have never been annoyed or blinded by the infotainment. Especially because when you are in a dark place the screen turns to dark mode so it's far less bright than during the day.

Why is that? First of all - on my channel I do more videos on each car to show potential buyers all the details of the car. Many people want pure POV drive to see how it is behind the steering wheel, without talking. Views tell you that.
