I did this with mine. Sounds great. Just remove the whole air box. Remove the map/mag sensor from the box. Go buy a aftermarket cone from autozone. Re-install the bottom part of the intake box back into the engine bay. Do not put the top part. Assemble the cone intake and it will fit into the bottom half of the stock intake box shielding it from the heat

Because you have to remove the top part of the stock air box. Once you remove the air box your put it back and just attach the cone filter

Got any pictures to see the fitting? I guess you left the top part out and use the bottom part of the box as a heat shield right?

Do you have blow off valve? or the sound its only for change the filter...??

The car has a "blow off valve" stock but its called DV (dump valve) and its the same things just more complicated

Does the sound happen when you change to the pod filter or did you do anything else to the car

The closed box suppresses most of the sound but a high air flow filter will help for sure. Nothing else done to the car.

Does not matter that much in a tutbo car. The turbo heats up the air and the intercooler cools it again.
