Looking at the comments, there are so many people saying different things and have a different interpretation of "AC NOT WORKING." Can you explain what exactly were your symptoms? ...is the AC Working but blowing hot air.. when you say NOT working..so people are thinking there is no air coming out of the vents when you turn it on, that's what Not working sounds like to me.

Can confirm this works! I just went to OReilly’s & got the part, a wrench, & a socket, and did the repair right there in the parking lot. Now, after nearly a month of hotboxing, my ac is working pretty much instantly. Thank you for sharing!

My husband looked up 2013 Audi a4 broken a/c and your video was the first one to pop up. He watched your video, we went to oreillys and bought a new ac compressor switch for 83 bucks and after a year and a half of having no a/c it fixed the problem immediately! Just had my A4 b8 ac gas recharged, nothing, not cooling at all still, workshop wanted 180 euros (on top of the 80 I just paid for the gas) to 'repair' the aircon, found your video and ordered a new switch for 58€, it arrives tomorrow, I'm hoping and confident that you just saved me 120€ or a sweltering summer on the Costa del Sol 🥵 thanks for posting, I'll let you know how it goes 👍🏻

@Benson Yun. Sure! Here's a reworded version: I own a 2017 Audi A4, and I'm having trouble with my AC. It doesn't switch to the 'On' position; instead, it only defaults to 'Off', and the rest of the options are greyed out besides the Off. Occasionally, the AC does turn on and cools my car, but sometimes the entire AC control module doesn't work at all. I've already replaced the AC control module, but the same problem persists. Can you please help me?

If the module has been replaced, read the vagcom, 9-10 times it's going to tell you where the exact issue is. Most of the time it's pressure switches etc..

hi there? I have an A4 2014 B8.5 1.8 model TSFI... I have a problem with my aircon. when you switch it on. It blows air, but the air only comes from the underneath vents by the feet and by the windshield vents (sufficient airflow by the way). But NO amount of air flow is coming from the side vents of the dashboard and the middle vents of the dashboard by the radio. what could be wrong? thank you for your suggestion.

check fault codes, but i think the flaps in box might have problems with it usually it will throw a fault code

depends on which part it broke, but if you have enough condensor left to tap thread, i would give it a go, just make sure no metal residue in the line

@@wi9401 Yes, I tried £40 pressure sensor part first which didn’t fixed the issue. So, had to do regas which has fixed the issue. R1234YF refrigerant is expensive hence recharge costed me £129.95 from KwikFit in UK. They also confirmed no leak in aircon compressor, only needed a regas and AC is working fine since last 2 months. Hope it helps 👍

Hi, if the A.c it blowing warm air in the compressor pressure is too high. Could it be the switch pressure sensor fault on my 2017 Audi A6 3.0T because the compressor is spinning and I hear the click when I turn it on but no sign of COLD AIR and gauge needle was all the way up on the red I don’t know if it’s over pressure or the sensor is bad

I've got an A6 2014 with air con issues, I've just had the condenser replaced as it was leaking and now have the air con switch red light on to switch it off and on (it wasn't before). The air con doesn't feel cold and in hot temps (30 degrees plus) it just pumps out hot air. Would this be an indicator it needs regassed or woukd this switch being replaced fix the issue? @@sheazadhussain1500 In my case the AC light was on, but the compressor wasnt working so i got no cooling. Maybe you have a different model. Main reasons for a not working ac is los on coolant in the system, bad thermal fuse of the compressor or the sensor. I would try to change the sensor and see what happens.

If you have gas coming out, the valve between the ac line and that’s pressure switch it’s leaking, replace that little valve

When I replaced it, gas kept coming so I quickly screwed on the new one. now the fan runs unusually often? :) and it is no longer possible to press the ac button, but that may have to do with the fact that it has not been over 10 degrees outside, perhaps?

@@karinlind1773 when the gas came out, that’s mean refrigerant came out, but there should be a valve inside to stop this, check if the valve is damage, I would just replace the valve
