Audi A4 B8 - 2.0TDI CAHA - P2015 - Easy fix

Fist step in solving the P2015 for me was cleaning the Swirl Flap Actuator.
If it does not help you need to install the P2015 fix metal bracket.

Won't work for me so think the stop on the sprocket is maybe worn slightly allowing it to over-rotate. Ordered a external bracket to see if that will work

Yes the ebay bracket worked a treat...5 months later an still going fine

You have changed the actuator completely ?

Same for me, new actuator motor fitted dash warning light still on, was told by garage now need need inlet manifold, as motor did not stop light

@@BestCarMods me i changed everything to New ...the V157 and egr. Even i did an adaptation with vcds. And at last i put that famous part to fix the actuator rotation...i erase All errors with vcds but the check engine light returns again....so...i dont know what to do really ...i still have the same code error P2015. BY THE WAY MY CAR IS PASSAT CC 2009 TDI 2.0L. CBAB ENGINE. REGARDS

@@rdehart5509 the intake manifold motor rotation must be between 0.7V on position off and 4.50V on position off, without this values the ECU send errors with the check engine On That IS the problem .

So you don’t have to remove the intake manifold to install the bracket??

If you are able to take out the actuator for the flaps, the answer is yes.

you fail the MOT test in the UK for a check engine light being on.

@@exz4835 the car should be ok... however should something else come about you will not be able to tell that there is a problem as you are used to your check engine from your p2015 ...

So i need only to use that kind of spray and clean it inside, then erase fault code with my obdeleven and the fault code doesn't come up anymore? I've done that several times with my obdeleven without cleaning it from inside, the fault code comes vacks after a while

If you clean it you might have a longer interval until it comes back. If cleaning does not help, install the metal bracket designed to fix this P2015 error.
