I’ve put BERU brand (borg Warner), they come from the factory also.

Maybe a silly question but how do you get rid of the fuel in the high pressure lines? Or is it only pressurised when you put the ignition on?

@@matthewbailey2969 no , just unbolt what I’ve shown on video , is only pressured when engine is running. And be carefully when you take the fuel rail out not to drop any dirt on the holes of the fuel rail.

I forgot to ask, how did you depressurise the fuel rail before loosening the injector pipes?

Took me 2-3 hours and yes I’ve sprained in there because the valve where closed fully , be careful not to drop something in there, and I just unbolted the bolts from the pressure fuel rail… then when you put it back on just prime (contact on and of ) the fuel maybe 10 times and you good to go .

@SilviuGabriel1997 Hi, thanks for the reply, I actually did this work yesterday. My swirl flaps were sticking & throwing up an engine warning light. I cleaned the throttle body & the EGR at the same time. Thank you for giving me the confidence to do it myself. It really was simple to do & very satisfying!! I hope many more see your video & benefit from it, like I have.

Where does all the crap go when you clean the ally manifold? Down onto the pistons?

@@grayslayers no , the pistons are closed, Check with your phone camera ….degrease properly with mr proper or something else … and then take your vacuum put a small rubber tube by the end of the vacuum suction with some tape , and then insert on the valve holes … and vacuum all the moisture and else . 👌

After cleaning, and putting all back on, you have to prime the fuel pump ? I want to clean the intake too, but i don t have vcds

No , only I’ve put the contact a few times 10 times or more … and has started back !

@kurt-io5xi I mean you can put your ignition on and of a few times after you put back together everything, to prime the fuel and so on , and yes disconnect the battery. Good luck 🤝

Try to se on the back of the engine at intake manifold electric motor … if the arm small arm doesn’t move, you have a bad motor flaps

@@Amarjit999 cheaper options, try to replace valve solenoids and checking properly the waier cable , if is not going to work try to replace either electric motor or the entire intake manifold, maybe yours is clogged and stuck (open and clean if you didn’t done, cheap operation)
