Audi A5/S5/RS5/A4 AC/Heater Blower Motor Squeaky Noise Fix! Glovebox Removal. Blower Motor Change.

Hey guys. In this video I am changing a blower motor on my Audi A5, as it started making squeaky noises. The jobs is fairly simple, takes like 15 minutes, but the blower motor itself is a quite expensive, mine was a 100 euros, but there are cheaper ones, I just decided to go with the better one. This video is spot on for doing this job. Replaced my blower motor on a 2010 S4 and everything that this video says to do is accurate, don’t waste your time on other videos that are longer. The whole job took a little over an hour as it was the first time I’ve done this but was pretty easy.

Do it from under the bonnet near right hand side of windscreen. Once trim is off put oil on fan shaft, spin, then bit more oil, job done.

Did this throw codes when you unplugged the brown plug by chance? Wondering if I need a VCDS to clear codes or if I can do it without one.

No codes, I think as long as you don't turn the ignition on while anything is unplugged, no codeswill pop up 🤙

Should be very similar. Bolts and connections may differ.

The bearing was on it's way out. He was making the squeeky noise.
