***All good, just found it! Would love to pay you for a copy of that info if possible? I feel like this video has given me a glimmer of hope! My A6 is scenario 2. With 3 auto elecs not being able to get anything changed and costing me over 2 grand here in Aus, through KZbin and forums I've managed to narrow it down to a wiring issue. Hoping the overlay wire can fix it.

You've 100% help me diagnose my AC problem with me having access to a VAG COM. Superb mechanic. I'm an electrician by trade but was stuck on testing after I tested my feed to compressor as its all ECU controlled after then. Thanks again my friend. Top bloke.

Nice one Dave. I keep one of these sensors in stock. Most issues I see with them is refrigerant leaking through switch.

Think my 2011 zafira might have something like that Dave , bought it when it was a year old with 7 k on the clock the ac has been crap since I bought it ..... living in Scotland I have just put the windows down ,.... but will need to get it sorted someday , cheers again Dave great , wee interesting video there , 👍

Great video. I have a 2007 and 2008 Audi A6. No AC brought me here. Getting a mostly consistent fault of pressure being too high. Manifold pressure gauges say otherwise (I think). Heard to find any information of pressure ranges for the A6.

love the video it has giving me more understanding in the faults...but i had to replace my condensor and the fitting to the condensor was totally fused like it had been welded...the pipe ended up snapping at the connector to the condensor managed to buy a pipe .. from ebay..fitted it but on the bulk head side the connectors quick connectors as they are called...are hard to fit i got a new set but its still leaking i cant find any info how to fit them correctly hope you do a video on that soon...thanks for all the videos and help you give us its magic thanks mate

I have a 2005 A6 WITH A 3.2L Quatro auto. the compressor clutch enguages but doesn 't cool. Any thoughts on whats the problem .other than the an internal leak in the compressor? thanks for any suggestions.other than changing the compressor, drier and condensor.

Great vid . I have a 2.0d b8 allroad and it blows no hot air . Temp gauge still works fine would you say thermostat? Also the engine fan stays on for a while after turn off

hi there? I have an A4 2014 B8.5 1.8 model TSFI... I have a problem with my aircon. when you switch it on. It blows air, but the air only comes from the underneath vents by the feet and by the windshield vents (sufficient airflow by the way). But NO amount of air flow is coming from the side vents of the dashboard and the middle vents of the dashboard by the radio. what could be wrong? thank you for your suggestion.

I have 2015 s5, no a/c. My clutch spins at all times with a/c button on or off and pressure around 100psig which doesn't change when ac button pressed. So compressor is not being engaged. You run into this? I'm thinking my clutch is broken

Hi Dave a quick question regarding the ac unit i have noticed that in very cold weather if the ac unit is on and on the dash at the consumption info i can see a low fuel consumption which indicates that the ac compressor is not building pressure due to low temp outside (which is normal) do the both fans are turning on at 10% power is normal? For me this is causing loss of temp for the coolant i want to mention that i have replaced both thermostats i have to drive the car with the ac off during the winter which can cause ac failure in the long run the seals wont be lubricated (this will get the rubber to crack) once the hot weather comes and it will start using it again it will due to wearing on the seals will cause leaks.. So over all the question is that should both fans run when the ac is on and freezing cold weather outside? If there is no pressure build up why they are turning on? It could be a faulty sensor which tinks that has idk 8-9bar where is maybe 6?

Please help, I have e an Audi A6 C7 62 reg. I got it for about 3 years now and spent over £1000.00 trying to get the air conditioning to get some cold air. The dealership stripe out the wiring, changed sensors and still no cold air. The fan is working fine and I believe the fuse are fine. The climate control isn't working properly . Can some please help with any advice to sort it out?

Yeah this worked today on my 2010 a4 , sound Dave 👍🏻 Any quick idea that is causing the engine to stutter at idle , say goin along in traffic at fixed /idle throttle ? Can be fairly thumpy sometimes 🤔😊

Not sure on kia's Jeremy. Look for a frequency if you see a jumpy voltage then scope out, cheers dave

Check the fuses, i checked minde today and there wasnt one in, when i put one in it turned on immeadetly😮

@@TheGibby3340 most dont. I see an a/c fault on most cars i scan. The owners only realise its not blowing as cold as it should on the odd hot days when they're in the car all day. If its leaking they dont go to the expense. We knew this one was electrical so the owner wants it fixed.

had oil sump replaced, to do that AC pipes had to be disconnected. job done, AC re-gassed and it doesnt blow cold... :/

Had the same issue with my A4. My switch was actually leaking refrigerant straight from the electrical connector no fault codes
