Just bought a 2013 3.0T with 152k miles on it for $8500 after taxes and fees. I wasn't particularly looking for this vehicle but when I heard what we took the car in for at my dealership and then I drove it I knew it was a no brainer. This example is a one owner and always dealer maintained. Drives absolutely fantastic. Deal of a lifetime. I have always LOVED this powertrain.

This does not have carbon build up issues.. has a double injection, ported and direct.. so you are clear there..
@AccentOnCars3 жыл бұрын
From the research I had done, talking to mechanics and Audi USA I came to conclusion that 3.0 TFSI USA cars (especially early models like this) certainly didn’t have dual injection: direct only. Note: FWIW, Audi sent a letter out in 2013 to 2009-2012 3.0L and 2009-2013 3.0T TFSI engine owners announcing an extended 10 yr/120K mile warranty to include the cleaning of the Secondary Air Ports of carbon build-up.
@AdHominem8883 жыл бұрын
I'm talking about valves deposit.. on that letter you bring up, they say at the end: The extended warranty would not include cleaning any carbon deposits in other areas of the engine including the valves or other problems that would cause the MIL to illuminate.
@AccentOnCars3 жыл бұрын
Have you opened any of these up? Is yours a USA car? Did you see it had dual injection? I couldn’t find any proofs of that, but perhaps I just don’t know.
@AdHominem8883 жыл бұрын
1) 3.0 TFSI engines (we're talking the supercharged 3.0L V6) does have dual injection in European motors only. The port fuel injector (x1) is introduced only in Europe to meet NOX emission standards. 2) This NOX restriction does not come into play in NA, so thus for us NA folks, the 3.0 TSI (we'll call it that for short) engine does NOT have a port fuel injector.

I own the same car with all the option like this one plus keyless entry, tinted rear glasses, soft night interior lights and different head and taillights (but not dynamic turn signal units like the newer C7.5 facelift lift model). It's a 2013 US model with the 8 gear tiptronic. The EU version has the 7 gear DSG gearbox (gasoline), diesels has the 8 tiptronic too. I can say that is a very very nice car. The list-price with al the options was 108.000 Eu. I think equally to abt. 100.000 USD. I am going upgrade this car with a 3 spoke steering wheel, mine is also heated and maybe I am gonna lower the suspension 30-40 mm with a Koni adjustable set (US models has standard suspension, EU models standard has the 20 mm lowered suspension on the 3.0 and S-Line has a 30 mm lowered suspension).
