Audi A6 Timing belt replacement

In this video I am changing Audi A6 2012 2.0 TDI timing belt and water pump. Also during this job I almost damage its engine, so I cant call it step-by-step how to replaced timing belt. Instead lets say how not to change timing belt.

That somewhat reminds me of doing the timing belt on my v6 Passat b6. I'm sure you've done that sort of VAG engine before.

Why not use 2 long bolts to put the front in servicemode? To lock it use a 6mm drill...

It make sense now, maybe something i should consider in future, up till this moment I never encounter problem with these shorter bolts

Why was it not turned over by hand before starting?

It was, at 28 minutes.

I did, but they i lock it again and second time I didnt turn by hand as in my head i already turn it

That’s been done wrong The 3 bolts on the cam sprocket should have been loosened first before setting the tension
