The bottom backseat pops out easy. For the back rest, there is 2 bolts at the bottom, remove the head rest and the guides for the head rest, and it will come out with a little pull force.

I love German cars, I hate working on them for even the easiest jobs. Adjusting headrest on my Camry takes 5 sec. Adjusting headrest on my Audi TT takes 3, 4 minutes. Easiest jobs are ridiculously hard on VW, Audis.

All this messing about to change an ABS cable...getting headrest off is a b***h took me a couple of hours without damaging headrest or leather trim. Clips have dropped down in seat so they won't be going back on. Great Video it helped.
