Great review, Kris! Incredible car. Interesting that this platform swaps the DCFC charging port location (to the passenger side) versus the e-tron SUV and e-tron Sportback. Thank you for covering the Porsche Taycan differences as well.

They've dropped the camera mirrors and automatic charge ports, guess there were too many faults with them on the SUV etrons? Weight saving measure too for dropping the charge port motors and mechanism.

E-Tron GT is built on a different platform, so I’m guessing that why this does not have those features. Not a fan of the camera mirrors, it the powered charge port is kinda awesome in the E-Tron 😊

@@KrisRifa Hey Kris! Yes I love the charge ports in mine too. My 2 year old also loves pushing the buttons at any opportunity. Good point about the platform. I think I saw another review which mentioned the GT having rear wheel steering, is that true and if so did you try it?

Just drove a taycan 4s yesterday and was very impressed with the ride as well. Surprised that Audi messed with the steering that much - the taycan steering felt fairly light as it is.

Re road quality in Oslo; possibly the trafic i heavier the closer to the city you get and the studs we are using in the nordics wears a lot on the road surface.

I sooo want this car. I drive an Audi A5 45 tsfi 2020 today so this is the closest replacement in the EV-market but damn it's so expensive here in Sweden. More than double the price.

The base spec e-Tron GT has twice the power of that A5 - so twice the price 😆

Thanks for a nice but short review. You mention steering is not as agile as in the Taycan. Q: did Taycan have the same Nokia’s Hakka Nordic winter tyres while testing?

Didn’t check the Taycans tire, but it was on winter rubber. So either Hakka R3’s or VikingContact 7’s. My E-Tron is on Hakka R3’s though. Agility seems similar, just a lack of feel ☺️

Audi E-tron and E-tron Sportback. Coming soon is the Q4 E-tron. So to answer your question in a short fashion, yes.

The thing is EVs dont need a grill. This is why there is plastic instead.

Yea I don't know why they are designing in grills like this. Yes there needs to be a gap for aero but why not smooth out the front like tesla? Personally I like the colour matched grill but it still doesn't sit well with me.
