How to install speed cameras PPOI database in Audi with MIB2 #MMI system. This free update package will bring additional personal points of interest (#PPOI) to your navigation maps. Fixed speed cameras, mobile cameras, average speed controls, police checkpoints, and more. If you want to install it in your car, first check if you have MMI MIB2 based system - you can do this by checking how the software version looks like. If it starts with MHI2 or MHI2Q, you are good to go. Visit mib-helper.com, enter your software version/ SW Train, download latest version of the PPOI package for your region, extract it, copy over to an empty SD card, insert into SD1 port, go to MENU, Setup MMI, Software Update, select SD1, and wait about 1 minute for the package to be installed. After that you can confirm if new elements (including #speedcameras) are available in navigation settings.

I installed these POI over red menu. MMI restarted 3 times, and it works fine. The question is, whether red menu was a wrong place to do this? Your procedure is much simpler.

W skodzie superb 3 nie można zaznaczyć wszystkich punktów poi, ograniczona ilość wyboru. Możliwe że nawigacja nie pozwala więcej zaznaczyć

Hi! I am not sure what to do with the second link in your description for the PPOI? I downloaded the whole package (nearly 30gb) and now i put all of that on an SD Card an put it in the car? Or do i just use the package for my destination (Germany)? Would be nice if you could help me :) Thank you!

Es ist nur die Erklärung zum Installieren der POI. Es wird nur die Datei benötigt mit etwas über 50MB und die Installation dauert keine 2 Minuten. WENN es sich um ein MHI2 Navi handelt!

I found it on your telegram and it worked after editing the metainfo file a little. The only issue is, it alerts a sped camera but just as a POI not speed camera :(

I have already done this but is there a way to set a notification when you are near a speed camera, otherwise they appear pointless as you cannot look at the screen all the time, you need a sound playing when near a camera. As my a6 doesn’t appear to have the play notification when near option shown on earlier installs mr fix?

There should be a setting available: example I have set an alert (just a loud beep and a short display) for when I’m approaching a school or hospital, but I have a Q7. In fact when I’m driving in the US: it also shows up on my HUD.

SD or USB needs to be formatted to FAT32 to work properly. You will need to use 3rd party software to format SD Cards and USBs larger than 32GB. This cant be done using Windows tools.
