Good video however there is no need to take the climate control unit or cd player out either. You can still access the MMI the same way just by taking the trim pieces off by the steering wheel and around the MMI screen.

@@thegatti922 yes actually after I redid the wiring it wouldn’t work and of course a week later I jus happen to get the bright idea to check the fuse and I guess frm me doing the wires over it blew the fuse so soon as I changed the fuse it came right on no problems since

@@thegatti922 and mke sure u check the right fuse on the correct side because the whole time I was checking the wrong fuse column until I actually looked in the manual and checked the correct location for the mmi display Because if u redid the wiring then only problem now it can b is the fuse

I did the wires with taps how did you repair your wires I got no fuses blown the radio just goes in and no display

@@thegatti922 I cut the wires on each end it’s only 2 wires both were separated I did tht and then changed the fuse my radio still was working the whole time as well so if u still hve sound than it only can b the wires so mke sure u redo both wires one is for sound and the brown wire is the ground which is for display but like I said bro mke sure u really are checking the correct fuse layout passenger side bottom row 4th or 5th fuse if I’m not mistaken tht can only be the problem because if u still hve sound then ur definitely good jus double check tht ground wire which is the brown one
