Recently I've been contacted by quite a few Subscribers offering me their cars, obviously this is music to my ears! Unfortunately I don't have endless spare time to shoot these on my KZbin channel, but when Ben (@the_beast_620) contacted me and said his AUDI RS6 Performance was up for drive, I jumped at the chance. It also happened to coincide with my good buddy & Mountain biking legend Brendan Fairclough who was also free, he drives a B7 Audi RS4 and really wants to buy a RS6 (as we all do), I don't think this put him off!

That launch is insane. There's a Carwow video of various RS Audis racing against each other and the RS6 is faster than the R8 from standstill for the first 100 metres or so.

George C Audi claim 3.7 seconds but they are tested to 3.3-3.4 seconds in real life. Audi massively underrate their cars performance-wise!

Sir Sparco jeez ahah I thought it looked faster like and it's the same with the now R8 v10+ they claim like 2.7/2.8 I think and it's been recorded to be 2.3/2.4. Audi sure do know how to make fast cars.

If i had the money to buy a Saloon it surely would be an RS6^^ Dream 5 Car Garage: RS6=Daily 911GT3RS= Track/Somehow daily Nissan GTR= Project car McLaren P1= Hypercar porsche 918= Hypercar (its easier to drive more Often Than the P1 i guess? Havent driven one xD)

I have that exact car color and everything. My dad has saved for YEARS for it. On the first day we got it we were crusing 100mph playing tunes. The person in the drive thru even asked if it was the car making that noise XD It's epic owning a supercar.

Joe Achilles , the car I had before was a 2014 GTR, with Litchfield's stage 4.25, so the SQ7 is never going to feel anything like that. I wanted to get a RS6 but I mainly drive my Vito around most of the time, I thought I would get a few brownie points with my wife😀 I have come across a company which are getting over 520bhp and 1000Nm from the SQ7 already. I might try sneaking that for it with out her knowing👍🏻

Ordered my '6P before seeing this, took delivery in April. Same colour combo of Nardo with Black. Awesome car, and the 'stock' performance exhaust gets louder as things loosen up in the pipework. Range Rover drivers seem to hate it though, probably the '6 is the car they wanted until their wives said "NO". Thankfully my wife is as unhinged as I am.

Hi Joe, Admittedly, I have just started watching your reviews, but I can honestly say they are a breath of fresh air. I love the interaction with your fellow passengers and how you involve them in your films. To me, facts and figures are just words, but when three fellow petrolheads burst into fits of laughter under full acceleration in an RS6, it's all you need to know :-) At the end of the day, it's what these types of cars are about. I know this is 7 years old but I'm watching this like a kid on xmas eve! Will be in the market for one of these next month after my mortgage deal renews and already got a few good looked after examples saved on AT that'll hopefully still be available when the time comes. i dont know how in UK but in germany and slovakia if u have RS6 performance u get CERAMIC brakes STANDARD this one dont have ceramic brakes so its not performance or in uk there is other package.

Tram-lining doesn't really have anything to do with the tyres themselves, it's the width. With wide wheels and tyres like the RS6, it's always going to tram-line. Some tyres may be worse than others, but you'll never eliminate it completely with 275 section tyres.

Superb video again. Certain other KZbinrs like to drive like pricks around London in built up areas! Much easier to watch than your younger counterparts Shmee150,SOL,TGTv,SEB.....they all seem like sellouts relying heavily on KZbin income to fund their channels. Hi Joe (Dave the serious M140i owner), looks like you guys had an absolute hoot. I had the V10 RS6 tuned to 700bhp before my m140 but straight line brutality aside I didn't find it very engaging/rewarding to drive, I get more enjoyment out of the beemer. But, always had a hankering for the C7 RS6 as it's supposed to be far more engaging. So, how did your drive in this compare to your say M2 in terms of enjoyment/engagement/fun?

+David Mc hahaha hey serious Dave 😂, mate I had a C6 RS6 too actually (albeit standard 570bhp), I totally agree that straight line pace aside they're a numb tool. The C7 is a totally different weapon, feels like it wants to turn in, very balanced on the limit etc... I've spent loads of time in C7's, 3k miles on last years Gumball etc and really enjoy driving the car. Dynamic suspension is still far too stiff for the UK, but comfort doesn't make you feel sea sick like I found it did in the old car. Hope that helped 👌

I think it would be close in a straight line, the GT4 gets off the line maybe half a second quicker, but once they're rolling it would be interesting...

I agree with most of the comments. I have owned and driven lots of Audi S & RS cars as well as the BMW M cars, most recent the BMW M4. I have always found the Audi's as better daily drivers but were a bit numb to drive. One thing that always drives me mad with the Audi SuperSport seats are the wear on the side bolsters. If your not careful getting in and out they look old within a week.. I must say the RS6 is tempting!
