Perhaps the end product needs more time in the oven but I like the thesis this concept is pushing forth. The Auto Union mono grille that's been Audi's signature corporate identity has had its day. Apparently Audis of days past had difficulties breaking into the Chinese market (presumably because they actually had soul and substance). This seems like a complete relaunch of the brand happening exclusively in China, and it looks like Audi is trying its absolute damnedest to disassociate itself with the vehicles of Audis past and blend in with the rest of Chinese car culture. From the looks of it, this might be an approach that will be reflected in the other VW Group brands as well
