get the ECS diverter valve spacers and you got a nice sharp woooosh when you let off the gas. For louder whistle, also upgrade to the ECS intake inlet pipes. I cut at the weld on the CTS intakes where it starts to get smaller and just attached to new bigger inlets with basic 2.5" to 3" couplers and clamps. Fits and looks like it was meant to be. I have no exhaust mods and I don't even want to get any cause the turbo symphony is so insane. Exhaust will cover everything lol. Also don't have any tune. I was just as disappointed as you. at least start with the spacers. gl

I will definitely try that out! I’m thinking of running the jackal motorsports stage 1 tune and maybe running it on the dyno to see how much power it puts down! Thanks for the good feedback!

Did you even test drive it? I literally have the same intake on my C7 S6 and always hear the turbos spooling and blow off. Shits addicting. Idk what you’re talking about.

Ohh I test drove it. I’ll be 100% honest I heard the turbo spool way louder on my 2017 A6 2.0T with a Injen intake. This was a stock A6. Definitely going with a different intake in the next couple months.

@@Fwerks.1592 Yeah TGK is fine since they replace the turbo inlets too but personally I don't like the way it looks. Too much open space for me. A good tune would be DS1 with Kyletunedit TCU or SRM's TCU. That's mainly what 4.0T people are running but if you're looking to stay just stage 1 go APR or if you want to tune/untune it anytime by yourself go Jackal Motorsports. Jackal's is cheap and I heard a lot of good things about it. They're kinda new for the 4.0 but been around. About $810 for both ECU and TCU, best price in the market right now. Don't run IE unless you want your motor to blow up.

hey buddy its me form the tune u showed me ur page but i have one intake on my car ARM its not bad but you will only hear a diff if the car was stock exhaust and ur driving it to much but with these intake you will not get much sound witch sucks

Yes, some of the fellow members mentioned to get TGK inlets! Will be definitely ordering within a week and retest. That’s what’s restricting the air flow!

Not true, testing have proven inlets makes no difference.. to get the real effect u need a stage1 or stage 2 tune with your intake.. Forget inlets...IE ,APR or Urotuning

If you upgrade your air intake u neeed a tune such as APR,IE or UROtuning to get the real dynamic effect and horsepower. You gotta go the full way, especially on an Audi. Upgrade with a Ecu tune and Transmission DSG TUNE... Forget inlets, studies have proven inlets makes no difference and ur just waisting money. Stop being cheap, u driving a foreign!!

I'm thinking switching over to the TGK air intake. As far as the tune I'm running the Jackal Motorsports tune & DSG tune at the moment. I'm still currently playing around with which aftermarket parts work better. When you own 5 European vehicles it's hard to keep up with buying all these parts!

I have a 2018 s6. . Getting the 034 intake with carbon fiber heat shields and an IE Stage one tune.. should put me at 600hp from 450
