Cheers nobby styles ...we thought about the gasket already... but quite a few customers wouldn’t even use it, so it would be just an additional cost which can be easily resolved by the end user by just using double sided tape instead... good minds think alike though

its not very easy to install this:) the centrel consol doesn't just "pops up" for me..the ashtray's light connector doesn't just come off..etc..i know it's not you fault though.

Make sure the gauge works. Eventually you have to rebuild the dash. There is a recall on it and go out after a while.

Aron Bennett it’s actually quite the opposite surprisingly. Each change feels more direct... & once you have it installed and get used to the individual gates... it’s actually quicker due to the reduced risk of crunching gears or misjudging gears... especially 1st & 3rd. It definitely gives a more racing look & feel to the car 👍🏻

Believe it or not... they actually teach you how to change gear properly after a while :) No more crunching gears! If I reverted back to the old gator now, it would feel like a spoon in a bowl! lol

We can produce & fit them with any colour LED’s you like... we tried testing & prototyping RGB leds in the past, but the results weren’t good enough... so we don’t offer that option unfortunately. The H-Gate doesn't seem thick enough to me in terms of aesthetics. Looking at an actual R8 shifter and you see how thick the metal plate is.. But I don't know how short the screws are.

Mattias Amorsen the issue is the travel distance between each gears doesn’t allow for a thicker plate... unless you raise the height so far up that it actually starts to look ridiculous 😂 Plus... the space between 1st, 3rd & 5th gear requires enough meat to actually become a gate (if that makes any sense) The R8 stick is slightly thinner too... & their H gate has actually been moulded which is mega expensive to mass produce/replicate exactly 👍🏻

These kits take alot of time to develop... design, development, prototyping, trialling, testing, tweaking, adjusting, more prototyping... then fitting & testing on atleast 3 separate cars/models to ensure the kits will fit & work well universally on all of that specific model. It just unfortunately takes time I’m afraid.

alexander zamora We trialled ones with a separate gate, but unfortunately... due to the rake angle of the gear stick, the spacer would have to be so thick... that it made the kit look ridiculous. The only other way around it would be to change the actual 'stick/rod' to a smaller diameter... which would be too much effort for the average consumer, so we just decided to proceed with how you see the kit today :)

Ayyaz Hussain it’s very easy... just cut the 2 wires to the existing light on the ashtray... expose the ends of all the wires... then connect them all back up together... use a connector block or insulation tape. Aslong as you make sure you connect the positive wire from the ring to the positive & the negative to negative... it should all be good 👍🏻 If you’re not sure or confident enough... then you’re better off getting someone else to do it who is abit more savvy with wiring
