I have owned Audi and vw the last 30 years and you hit the nail on the head exactly . I feel at home in both but Audi is the one i choose .... People say parts cost more but my argument is i wont need parts... My old Audi 1988quattro broke a timing belt doing 110MPH and there was no other damage caused.. Not many car brands can say the same,,,even though it was my own fault for letting the belt change go way overdue... For me its Audi for car and VW for Van

@@IrixGuy diesels have been the norm in Europe for years now , especially when they became faster. And you can drive for what seems like an eternity on one full tank . A work colleague had his vw golf and mercedes sprinter rv both running on waste cooling oil collected free from restaurants. He'd start engine on diesel until engine warms , switch over to cooling oil that is warmed slightly to make it less dense , drives free and switches back to the diesel before turning of engine for the day .

In addition, the Volkswagen Group offers a wide range of further brands and business units including financial services. That's why the cars look the same.

Having owned VW, Audi and Porsche I think Audi is the sweet spot in the brands. The handling, quality and price just sits right for me. Porsche is just out of my price range to afford comfortably, I know I've tried. But none of them are bad products, especially the VW Golf, they're without doubt the best all round car ever made.

Honestly, they were the same because I took them to a local mechanic that services German cars. If you take it to the dealership for service, the cost for Audi will likely be greater. I drive a 2024 Acura Integra now and get oil changes with tire rotation from my local mechanic for less than $50.00 USD :) Also, I have encountered ZERO electronics issues with the Acura. I bought a used 2012 2.5 L Jetta with 100k miles on it. It’s at 170k miles & it’s the best car I’ve ever experienced. Minor AC leak & pinpoint hole in the oil pan still not sure where it came from. Oil changes and brakes are all I’ve ever done. Even the battery was a factory battery & it went out after a couple years. Factory rotors too. Crazy durable! I might stick with VW, too scared to take the leap.

Hey!! thanks for the video. I am new here in the car space and am looking to get one preferably with a manual transmission. Am stuck between VW jetta 1.5 Sport 6-speed manual 2023 ($24000/-) Vs Honda Civic hatch 6 speed manual 2023 ($30000) (price range mentioned is approximate) . VW badge with the price + manual is attractive for me and am planning to go with it. Also the trust of VW engineering on it built quality and no rattling noise even after decades of use is another factor that is pulling my VW way. Not use how Honda is in terms of its built quality and rattling noise issue, but I am sure about its reliability and re-sale value. Pls help me understand which one is a good driver's car? Does Honda civic hatch can give the driving pleasure of VW 1.5 Jetta manual version. Which one has less road noise. Considering resale value, which one is a sensible option to go with for its respective price tags. Sorry for a big question, but confident of a good guidance from here. Thank you.
