@@BrosFOURRSpeed When I got my 2024 GLI the guy at VW was saying that the GLI is more comparable to the A4. The A3 is like a base model Jetta or something. GLI has a LSD, more sportier than the A3 and bigger too.

Tune the GLI engine with unitronics software, and you basically have an Audi A4..

It’s a great set up. I have the unitronic stage 1+ along with the DSG tune to match the engine software. With this tune, I’m pushing 275 hp with 310 of foot torque to the floor. I can be as conservative or aggressive as I want with this tune. The 2024 Audi S4 has two engines. The high output kicks out 261 HP with 273 foot torque to the floor. GLI engines are just detuned from factory, But with a tuned up engine whole different story.

Oh very nice! Never got into tuning on the S3. But if we kept it longer I would have done the Cobb. We'll see if my friend does anything with the GLI

Not quite the same platform. The Jetta here is an older model and is based on the older PQ VW platform, whilst the Audi is based on the newer MQB platform.

Very similar cars overall tho and you can still get a good idea of the differences from Audi to VW as similar platforms

that is a mk6.5 gli the better comparison wouldve been the mk7 gli and the s3 the s3 that is most comparable to a 6.5 we never got in the us
