Audi/Vw turbo wastegate rattle

Wategates DO NOT open when you let off of the throttle, They open when they hit their targeted boost amount controlled bythe ECU / N75 or spring pressure amount to prevent your turbo from over spooling while being on the throttle. If the wastegate never opened, the turbo would spin until it blew up or your engine blows up Diverter valves open up when you let off of the throttle to prevent residual boost that was left over when the throttle plate closes from hitting your compressor causing compressor surge. Noobs call it "turbo flutter".

Unfortunately they probably won’t fix just the wastegate because the waste gate is integrated into your turbo they are usually a full turbo replacement
