Yes, that's correct. You'd just need to use the Loop-back channels

Hello there, This would be possible, the easiest way to achieve this would be to set the Headphone output to DAW THRU and then just send the Bass and Click to outputs 5 and 6 in your DAW.

Is Logic pro recognise 3 as seperate ouput and 4 as seperate output???, i want to control volume individually but it in id control panel for 3-4 only one control fader is there.. Pls reply

Logic does recognise output 3+4 as a separate output. You;d want to use either a CUE mix or the DAW THRU mode to feed output channels 3+4 in your DAW to the physical Outout 3+4 on the iD14.

The main monitor control was not included in the iD44 software as you can control the volume using the control knob on the interface itself, however, people have asked for it to be added, so it is on our requested features list!

Hi there, it really depends on the scenario and how loud you need the headphones to be. As long as you're not clipping the output in the iD mixer, you can set your output as loud as needed for your mixing! Do let us know if we can help with anything else at all.

it will depend entirely on the headphones being used and their sensitivity. It would just be as simple as turning up the headphone volume until you have a comfortable listening level in your headphones.

Yeah the mixer window is reduced to these two controls by default lol. You should just resize the window or move the slider at the bottom(yep, it's dark grey and is barely visible)

Hello I'm a noob with an ID44. How can I shut down the input monitoring to avoid hearing the dry sound of my electric guitar alongside processed signal?

In the iD mixer app, simply pull down the fader for your guitar input and you'll no longer hear the dry signal via the iD mixer.

Hi, I have a question. Do we need to turn the +10dB boost on from the mixer while recording anything like vocals, guitars?

You can turn the +10dB boost on at any time where you need more signal level. Typically though when recoding Vocals or Guitar, there's more than enough gain from the pre-amps alone that you won't need the boost.

The last used mixer settings are stored on the computer and restored when the iD mixer is next launched. You can also save and recall the mixer setting from the File menu to easily recall your previous session's settings.

Hi Adam, I have a great PROBLEM with ID14 AND MY IPAD: I want to use routing with my ipdad, but here I am not able to use output 3+4 for routing to a click (in the app loopy pro) - there is no routing-app for the audient id14, right? On the mac it seems to work, but on the ipad I only hear signals form the output 1+2 ... but I want to use routing on my ipad with loopy pro - is this in generell possible or not??? Hello, thank you for your message. The iD14 is not officially supported on iOS. This is because there isn't a iD mixer app so this does greatly limit the functionality of the interface.

I see that the id14 is compatible with mac osx and ios but I don't see the same with the id24 which is what I would rather buy?? I have an imac 2021 Apple M124 in and an ipad pro ios 17.2 6th generation and I need something that is compatible. I also have a soundcraft ui24 that is awesome and some monitor speakers. I'm hoping to incorporate them all somehow. I'm new to this.. Which DAW do you recommend for these devices? I've heard that I can use Final Cut Pro? Or? I will be traveling with my ipad etc. THANKS!! Also,, do I need wired headphones or can I use bluetooth?

iD24 is compatible with macOS but is not officially supported on iOS. You can still get basic input and output if it is connected to an iOS device such as an Ipad but because there is no iD mixer app for iOS, you loose access to a majority of iD24's features. Any DAW can be used with our interfaces, depending on what suits your needs best. Final Cut for example would be good if you are editing video. iD24 does not support Bluetooth so you would need to use wired headphones.

You are great and brilliant but this is maddening as a noob because nothing is making any sense. . Will keep learning about signal flow between my MacBook Pro, A14, MODX8, and cubase 13 Pro by watching this over and over and over. May have already damaged my speakers and hearing as well as relationship wih neighbors as I lost all volume control in HArdware and software after accepting the daw through challenge. Tried to make sure faders were low enough - but they were not . I will keep watchinhg, pausing, mimicking what your ID mixer looks like compared to mine and then watching some more. Frustrated at this silver box but determined!

never happened to anyone that Mac doesn't recognize the Audient ID? never had problems but now can't find a solution for this, even the support tells me things that don't work.. card is on anyway

This will typically be a bad USB connection, can you please try a different port or cable and see if this resolves the issue?

i wish you could bypass the audient mixer.. its an unnecessary step and over complicates my gain staging. let me go straight from the daw to the outputs on the mixer. also, the id mixer that works with the ID22mk1 is way better than my ID44 Mk1
