@@keenanketsdever590 I do. Have one from '02 when we did his Skateboarder INTV then have another from around '10 from TWS when he had just gotten out of jail. The one right after jail might have have been conducted on speaker phone though so the audio isn't perfect but still pretty heavy to hear him talk about it all. I remember skating back in 2000 like it was so different back then man. Penny was the shit back then man. When youtube came out in like 2004 I watched all of his old parts over n over.

@@Adake9 It's kinda hard to explain.... Just like a bunch of little things. Like back in 1999-2004 around that time Skaters really respected the older generation. That aint really a thing no mo. Also Skating back then was like a counter culture thing, like if you skated you knew all the other skaters in your town. Now there are SO many skaters you might as well play football or soemthing. Idk if that makes sense but it's just different. Also nobody cares about style or even has any idea what good style is. It's just a different time period... All my friends are well into their 30's or 40's as am I, but I will always rememebr those years.

He's referring to Menikmati. Eric Kostons part. It came out very close to Sorry. He refers to every trick landing on the beat, which at the time, no one had really done before.

@@paulsits6167 He's not, though. The question was about the Flip video. He was referring to Eric Fletcher, who was on Flip but got kicked off in 2007. Fletcher couldn't handle life as a full time skateboarder and eventually got into heroin (the drug, not the skate company). I think there may have been at least one serious injury in there too. If you google around I think you can find an interview with him by Nate Sherwood.

I think penny’s mind puts together things that happened around the same time and gets confused, shrooms would do that and old school weed was shit and made u dumb and lazy af... When I was 17 I did shrooms for 4 days straight and was starting to feel like I was becoming one which doesn’t even make sense to me anymore and got lost in my home town trying to go 4 blocks.
