Orlean is one of five different musicians featured on his Ren’s Room channel he started when he was younger and had musical couch surfers stay with him and recorded a song from each one. All extremely talented. Check it out when you can.

Think it was recorded/released in February 2016. The bassline is beautiful - I thought it was Ren but it was actually by a Welsh bassist called Kit Perkins (from Indie band Milk). Shout out to Kit

Loved seeing this through your eyes as audio engineers. This is the album Ren speaks of in Troubles that he recorded "with the grim reaper knocking on the track". Recorded sometime in 2015.

This was ~ 7 years old and originally on Ren channel RENs Room when he was too ill to go out to busk but he was still making music ( after all…RenMakesMusic). Even back then his pen game was strong, and he has always had the ability to bring out the best of the artists he colabs with. He created his own studio in his room and this magic is what happened. I’ve been trying to find more from Orlean .

Ren is just so creative and playful with music! And he has a great ear for who to collaborate with and how to collaborate with them to use their talents best with the rest of the soundscape. Everything is just always so intentional and just right even if he’s just playing around. Like he *knows* when he finds the right sound or effect. And he *knows* how to balance it all so nothing is overused but used as needed.

This is the first reaction of Jessica I've seen in over a year of Ren reaction viewing, and I'm so glad you did it! I always thought that this song shows the widest range of Ren's genius, from beatboxing to producing to rapping to singing to excellent guitar and bass playing to collaborating with another great musician to songwriting. And on top of all of that, Orlean has a great voice and musical presence as well. It amazes me that most of us haven't heard of him before. Great reaction, btw!

Love this song and love the reaction! I actually have it on my playlist right now. The beat is sick. Another song with an amazing beat is a song called Ahiahiahohah by Ren Ft. Bibi. It’s a bonus track from Demos. I have no idea why it hasn’t gotten more attention. Just when I thought I heard all of REN’s discography and then I came across that masterpiece! If you guys prefer to react to an awesome live performance by Ren then react to The Big Push- I shot the Sheriff/ Road to Zion/ Hip Hop. It will blow your minds!! Also, I am a new subscriber and I just want to say how much I enjoy watching your reactions. So glad you did this! I’m always trying to push this one on reactors but most miss it and let it slip through the cracks. Orlean’s real name is Jimmy Sharp and he still performs in the UK and I’ve seen his name as a producer on an Ed Sheeran track. I think he does a lot of music with just himself and an acoustic guitar. I’ve seen a couple of your videos looking forward to watching this one as subscribed up have you guys done crutch with Bibi? If not, you guys should check it out. I think it’s one of his best most personal songs and I’m pretty sure it’s eight or nine years old. She his ex-girlfriend is also very talented and if I’m not mistaken, I believe she is also responsible for setting up a GoFundMe page to help him get the treatment which led to his diagnosis and funds to get to Canada even after they had broken up. So I think they also speaks on the type of guy that he is as well as the type of person that she is. Also, Genesis, the live version is probably my favorite red song and murderer. I know you guys have done that one. I don’t think you did the live version though which is actually even better I think probably 85% of his life roses are better than his other live recorded videos, he just has too much talent for one person!

So I know you guys did trouble by Ren no he re-released it again where he’s singing it while playing acoustic guitar in the back of an Uber. So the fact that he remixed his own song and less than two weeks after releasing it and made it into a completely different song, I would like to know your opinion on which one is better and how difficult is it to do what he did and what are some of the main differences in the composition aside from the sound obviously, but when it comes to the arrangement and construction of this song, and then which one of the two you guys actually prefer and when it comes to the technical side, which one is more difficult to produce and where some of the main differences, I appreciate it really enjoy your channel.
