Thanks! I haven’t tried the Tegeler but I will say that I have been very happy with my Audioscape and would recommend it 100%. It’s one of those pieces of gear that just makes things easy. Puts a smile on your face every time you turn the knobs. I especially use it to pull out better tones from bass guitars and kicks that just aren’t hitting right.

Also I have found many EQP replicas have a tinny or almost plasticky top end and just didn’t give me the silky smooth top end in the same way as the original. I have never had that issue with the Audioscape. It is silky smooth and fully itched my scratch for a real EQP.

I used to have an Aphex 107. Got for $100 used, great value.

Yea you can get em for cheap and they sound great. Especially my Shure KSM44 sounds killer through it. Really fattens it up. I swapped the tube on mine with a NOS one also. 👍🏽

Nice! Is the full mix summed to mono? Or does it operate in stereo mode too?

These units are only mono like the originals which is why you see many studios with two of them on hand. The full mix section was a mono track we recorded in a more vintage style but many people use two to work with in mastering.
