no mobile phones in the crowd, people would still clap their hands in 'ancient times', what a different feel it must have been as a perfomer to see faces and eyes in contact with you and not mobiles looking at you. nowadays everybody wants to prove they were there or something. just be there and enjoy the moment with the people present. period. you don't need film it.

Lyrics: Someone falls to pieces Sleeping all alone Someone kills the pain Spinning in the silence To finally drift away Someone gets excited In a chapel yard Catches a bouquet Another lays a dozen White roses on a grave To be yourself is all that you can do To be yourself is all that you can do Someone finds salvation in everyone And another only pain Someone tries to hide himself Down inside himself he prays Someone swears his true love Until the end of time Another runs away Separate or united? Healthy or insane? To be yourself is all that you can do To be yourself is all that you can do To be yourself is all that you can do To be yourself is all that you can do And even when you've paid enough, been pulled apart or been held up With every single memory of the good or bad faces of luck don't lose any sleep tonight I'm sure everything will end up alright You may win or lose But to be yourself is all that you can do To be yourself is all that you can do

I was in Kansas City, next to last show just before they went to Detroit. 3rd row center stage. Soundgarden. Wonderful show. Told my wife he didn't project the usual persona of a rock star on stage. Actually he seemed quite vulnerable with no protective "wall" between him and the audience. Afterward we drove to the back of Starlight Theater and just watched his bus for what seemed like an hour happy in the mood he had just put us in. A couple of days later we were heartbroken. Such a lovely soul...

@@juju82ist Unfortunately you can have all the love in the world but it can really take a switch of the brain and boom, you can’t feel it yourself. I do believe Cornell knew that..unfortunately depression is like that. It’s very good in making you feel like that isn’t the case. Definitely one big proponent in how we should definitely take the mental health of others more importantly and not judge everyone ya know..be more kinder to others. Alas, what a legacy the man has left as a singer. I still gotta delve more into his stuff but he was truly a talent man. It really sucks in how the good die young in any way man..
