Im subbed ny new friend thank you. Ive played just about my whole life without ever playing a d m .lol idk why it was my hurtle . I wish I was better but I think I've got a few good songs I've written. I've even gotten to play in front of a full Verizon wireless stage amphitheater.. got to open for Ted nugent, reo speed wagon and Styx but I havnt really don't much with my music in a while. I want for people to hear me play but I now suffer from a mental illness that has made ne a bit nervous on stage. Well the thought of it does. I used to feel right at home on stage even on that big show and I had no band behind me it was just me and my guitar. I was wondering if you knew of any other ways to get people to hear my music. I have a little recording set up but am having to learn how to get good sounds out of it and I'm even learning how to play drums on a little kit I bought so that way I can lay down my own drum lines. That is so awesome u have played in some amazing venues on great bills in front of so many people - that is killer! As far as getting people to hear ur music - that is tough - that is the BIG question that all musicians who put out original music have to deal with. Its a huge challenge - one of the toughest ones - how to get people to listen to your music. And I wish I had a simple answer for u - but I dont think there is one. Things have changed in the music industry and now its the internet who is the star maker -and unfortunately the internet doesnt know what its doing - so its more about your following now or your audience. Labels and management, industry people in todays msuic biz dont sign artists anymore - they sign audiences. This helps to keep all that lame music at the top of the charts - there is a lot of empty musical calories that chart today - its just the way it has become for many reasons - including the popularity of streaming where people dont buy music anymore - that really hurts artists and devalues music and our art. SO you have to find in roads in todays music scene - build a following on a social media platform and introduce your music to your following and get popular on a few platforms if possible. I wish there was an easy formula - but I dont think there is. But I can say be genuine, keep honing your skills and refining your art - keep writing the best songs you can, experiment, get quality musicians to play with you and work hard. o maaaan its not working for me 😭 i can play start C G Dm Am...and than 🤦🏻‍♀️ I see you wrote for streaming: ddd ududd on the Am but dont get the technique (or how to say 😫)....whats wrong with me..why i dont see it? I even watched over and over and over again on a slow motion...like 25% of regular speed still not working I am beginner...self taught 🤷‍♀️ bought few months ago an second hand acoustic guitar basically I dont know what am I doing and bought a guitar primarily to try to learn this song...one of my favorite 😌 also would love to learn: • from AIC Down In A Hole and Nutshell • Chris Cornell cover Thank You but streaming is problem for me...any advice how you do it? at least this short part on Am? and wanna THANK YOU for this amazing tutorial! THANK YOU p.s. for me you should do like a really slow version of streaming so I can get it...I know...I am like a slow retard do you stream all strings in that accord: dd ududd? 😓
