That singer is the late great Chris Cornell. He left this world May 18, 2017. Chris was one of the forefathers of the Grunge genre. Popular in the 1990s. From Seattle, Wa. His band SOUNDGARDEN along with NIRVANA & ALICE IN CHAINS. Layed the foundation for Grunge. Chris had a 4 octave range. His days with SOUNDGARDEN really showed his vocal chops. To start you on your Chris Cornell journey. I'd recommend: SOUNDGARDEN - OUTSHINED, FELL ON BLACK DAYS, BLOW UP THE OUTSIDE, THE DAY I TRIED TO LIVE, PRETTY NOOSE, BURDEN IN MY HAND TEMPLE OF THE DOG (a tribute band for his friend ANDY WOOD. The band was the remaining members of ANDY's band MOTHER LOVE BONE. After the tribute album was released. Chris did some solo work before returning to SOUNDGARDEN. The remaining members of TOTD became PEARL JAM) HUNGER STRIKE, SAY HELLO TO HEAVEN. Chris solo work to check out: SEASONS, BILLIE JEAN (Michael Jackson cover), NOTHING COMPARES TO YOU (Prince💜 cover). My favorite AUDIOSLAVE songs are: COCHISE (co-chee-ise), SHOW ME HOW TO LIVE & DOESN'T REMIND ME. Yes, you are correct that he could've had anyone. But he wasn't that type of guy. He was faithful in both his marriages. He had a substance abuse problem that caused his first marriage to end. I don't have nothing nice to say about his second wife, now widow. So I'm going to end this now. Thank you for appreciating Chris's musicianship.

Oh yeah the other dude was TOM MORELLO. He, the other guitarist and drummer were the remaining members of RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. Their lead singer ZACH DE LA ROCHA had left the band.

Sheesh!!! I’ve heard of Nirvana and Alice In Chains, but Soundgarden is new to me. I did a reaction to to Pearl Jam black and I listen to it like everyday or every other day. Thanks for the information!!! I can’t wait to hear more.

@@emilyfeechi you're quite welcome. On TEMPLE OF THE DOG's HUNGER STRIKE. Chris & Eddie Vedder both sing lead vocals. One sings after the other. Starting with Chris. I hope you enjoy the rest of Chris's work. His cover of BILLIE JEAN makes you look at that song in a different perspective.

People overlook lyrics. Chris always spoke from his soul. We can go back now and see how heartbreaking his words were. Most just hear the top layer, the sound.

Idk what’s wrong with Chris here. Very low energy performance. Please don’t sleep on him. Try Soundgarden! “Outshined” the video. Chris in all his glory.

Well just so you know the singer Chris Cornell committed suicide by hanging in 2017, he was suffering from depression, so that should answer your question

Try Chris Cornell's covers of Nothing Compares to You, Billie Jean and Patients. Plus any Temple of the Dog (Hunger Strike) he was also the singer in Soundgarden and obviously AudioSlave.

Great reaction video, Emily, and you are right--he is fine as hell (especially his voice and eyes), and Audioslave rocks. Please react to Like a Stone! Then move on to Temple of the Dog "Say Hello To Heaven,"and then listen to Chris with his other, original band of brothers--Soundgarden. Thank you for listening to this and sharing your reaction!

He sounds like he may of had a sore throat or something...quieter than usually with his voice and was trying not to over do it. He usually belts it out. Great voice regardless. And yes he was sexy as hell
