Paul is a beast on the drums. Such an underrated band.

I got to see them live a few years ago and, halfway through the show, I realized that I'd been mostly looking past the talented lead singer and the beautiful girl on the keyboard to watch the wild animal on the drums. Dude plying his trade is a fun thing to watch.

My wife accidentally introduced me to this band by taking me to a Dan Mangan concert and now they are one of my favorite bands. One of my favorite part of their songs is I've driven through Frank's Slide several time, I've lived a block off the deathbridge in Lethbridge (Whoop Up Drive), I've seen the Enterprise in Vulcan and I've lived in Edmonton for a couple years. It adds extra meaning to those songs

I love this band! I hear them first when living in California, our firm was working on a contract for AOL music ?2012? and I immediately fell in love with their first album. I grew up in Alberta and could relate to the black friday song personally.. adore the feeling of the band.

I'm not sure how I wound up here but I'm so glad I did! Such a fantastic band! It is interesting listening to them talk about vinyl. I grew up on vinyl, 8-tracks, and cassettes. There is such a wonderful warmness to those things that you don't get with a CD, mp3, etc. A lot of people don't realize when music is digitized it is compacted so you loose a lot of the essence of the music. Long live vinyl!!

Some of these songs sound SO much better than on the original albums (they've come a long way as a band). Almost wish they'd re-record them or do a live session album or somesuch. "Muscle relaxants" is so different.

This was inspired by looping the song found at 15:00 of this performance. Thanks guys. Looking for Trouble by Patrick Alaggio March 10, 2017 Walking these dirty city streets looking for trouble Don’t care who jumps out or where they jump from Just lookin’ for someone to bring it on Stopped caring about the world or what it has in store for me Stopped believing in dreams I’m ready for trouble and ready for the end There’s nothing that frightens me There’s no fear in my steps A gang of kids cross the street at me I refuse to cross and increase my speed As they slow to a crawl and inspect the scene I take my hands out from my pockets Expose nothing but air and a lack of fear They look at each other and walk on by “What’s the matter”? I growl back “Not easy enough to roll tonight?” No mister, we ain’t looking for no trouble But trouble was my new name and caring was no longer my “thing” Not since you said goodbye to me So I walked and walked all night long hoping some fool would come along but the only fool I found was me . . .

He sings in to it at the start of "Vulcan, AB' (around 19:00). Weirdly the 'mic' is in the earpiece part.
