@@LuganWanian They basically are right now. People are calling to have police defunded in an effort to rebuild the system. The biggest issue with police outside of the training and racial profiling is simply that they are tasked to do too much. The overall scope of what an officer's job should be needs to be narrowed down so that they can be focused on being public servants and not a sub section of militarized public enforcers.

The cop immediately told me to "Take a seat" and then he went on to tell my parents I wasnt allowed to do that and even threatened to give my mom a child neglect charge. Then he let us go with a warning Cuz he couldn't find the code to cite us. He couldn't find the code Cuz it isnt actually illegal Oh yeah, I also passed him almost 6 times but then some car got in front of me and purposely started going slow asf, literally like 30mph (Speed limit was 50 and I was going around that) So I had to go around him to make sure I didn't die. That's the car that told the cop to pull me over ig

@@Tjejify That is an old technique of police. Force someone to pass and then cite him for passing unsafely. Haven't heard of it much in the US, but in China there is a law that if you video anyone committing a traffic violation you can share in the fine. Gangs pull stunts like that to force what looks like a violation for profit. Drivers have died in accidents trying to avoid a staged near miss accident.

A cop walked out in front of my car once in a McDonald's car park like it was his right so I just kept driving making him skip out of the way. He then started to berate me for not stopping. I told him that he should know how to cross a street by his age. I proceeded to go to my friend's apartment across the road and we watched the same cop drive past my car every 5 minutes for 2 hours. Eventually, I timed it so he passed and I left a minute later. He was turning back to go past again when he spotted me. He immediately did a u-turn to chase me. I lost him in a maze of back streets. What a great use of resources half your day at work was wasted on having your ego bruised while you were getting snacks.

Some police departments only require 6 months of training...while almost all Attorneys who PRACTICE Law require 6-8 years on average and the passing of the Bar Exam. Seriously need to require a bachelors degree at least and be taught the law not just given a gun and badge after barely what would pass for general information of the law (ESPECIALLY considering it's taught not from a full court and legal perspective but from perspective of a system used to getting away with violating the law) and with basically only 1/16 of the time. Some require 2 years (Associates) but even that shouldn't be enough to carry a weapon on duty and use it in such ambiguous or clearly not dangerous situations and have almost no repercussions most of the time. A Bachelor's Degree should be bare minimum to carry while on duty (being on duty employers can designate whether you're allowed to carry a gun while punched in and representing them). Tazers should me more than enough to defend themselves the majority of the time, since there are way too many wrongful deaths or escalated situations BECAUSE of the officers and them having a Firearm on them. It's too easy for them to use that as a go to automatically and that's what usually happens because of that, it's a VERY dangerous crux to depend on and assume as your automatic go to when you just feel scared (justified or not) but have no evidence or clear reason to be fearful or even draw your weapon, and survival instinct kicks in and outweighing the law for you at that time. Officers shouldn't be taught to fear Citizens or see them as inherently dangerous from minor normal things, and they shouldn't be forced to adopt the "Us vs Them" mentality.

May we politely suggest the following de-escalation for remedy? THE TRUST IS COLLAPSED....in other words, your company is no longer granting them any more credit. If the policeman is not lawfully investigating the crime on behalf of the male/female victim and is entering YOUR company jurisdiction without you summonsing them, then would it not be advisable to be politely placing YOUR public-servants/trustees under your notification that your company is charging $707 per hour/part-there-of for YOUR company time and also $717 for YOUR company performance?....and that any further communicating (verbal) and/ or corresponding (written) with your company, is with them accepting the terms & conditions of the commercial contract IN THE PRIVATE (the cop and their CHIEF and their POLICE UNION is now with PERSONAL liability.... because Notice-to-Agent-is-Notice-to-Principal....and also through JOINDER....and they also lose their qualified immunity) This way, you are NOT resisting/refusing to obey/comply with their orders/demands/policy /questions, but instead, you are now willing to perform WITH THE CONDITION that payment is with your company immediately, because you have NO CONFIDENCE with them administrating YOUR company trust! THE PUBLIC TRUST IS COLLAPSED...Why is YOUR company issuing them extra credit! Are YOU not the executor and the beneficiary of YOUR trust?...making them the trustees, whom are with their fiduciary obligation and duty-of-care to be NOT causing you injury nor damage nor loss nor harm. Is THEIR job YOUR job? Is THEIR company policy YOUR company policy? not unless and until they are PAYING for your company time & performance THE CONSTRUCTIVE TRUST IS COLLAPSED...YOUR company is no longer performing free-of-charge! You may be willing to pursue the matter through the small-claims-court and/or through arbitration which is held in-the-private because PUBLIC court is only for the PUBLIC servant. YOUR TRUST FUND IS NOW WITH RESTORATION....YOUR company is now making money from every encounter with YOUR public-servants because the days of doing something with your trustees for free are over. PS-Be the BUSINESS man with the public-servants.....NOT the victim. Let your recording be proof for YOU at court of the commercial contract in-the-private.

Paul Suprono - yep, but unpaid this time. We already paid for it once. Why would we reward incompetence by paying to have him go back to the academy? You know he’d just sit there playing big shot and laughing that he is being paid to sit safely in a classroom.

What I'd like to know is why has the Supreme Court ruled that we don't have to have drivers license, registration , or forced insurance!!!! But yet police will tow your vehicle and force you to get registration when your not involved in Commerce

Everytime these “law enforcers” open their mouths, their true ignorance shines through. Clearly somehow in their minds they believe a vest, badge and gun makes them invincible. And that condescending dismissal BS at the end is what really shows their disdain towards law-abiding Americans.

He got a Boba Fett shaped USA flag pattern on his vest. One can get cynical about that, considering it is portraying a bounty hunter.

Mr. Gomez never should have told them that he was "going to his car". He should have waited for the sergeant, or at a minimum, stay where he was. He didn't have to leave if he didn't want to.
