Fully agreed. I see lots of comments on this type of video which claim all cops are bad cops. Here in this video, we do see an example of a very bad (ex) cop. But we also see an example of a cop who is doing exactly what he is supposed to do. The difference is like night and day. I feel it is very important to support police officers who are doing their job properly. Police officers do need to issue tickets occasionally and even make arrests. If that's what the job requires, let them do it and get the matter sorted out in court if necessary. But in the minds of the public, police officers can and often do go too far, even if they're technically within their legal rights, and I believe police officers should do their level best not to cross that line.

Throwing women , throwing 75 yr old men who crack their head on ground blood coming frm their ear & the cops just keep storming away. What about the cops hitting protestors with their vehicles. Nee release of the police audio was horrible. One of the officers stated “run them over” another said shoot em till a 3rd voice told them to bot say that over the radio. Too late TMZ got the audio. It's cultural discrimination in most situations in America, not just race. These guys were exhibiting some urban cultural traits, which is stigmatized in America by non-urban people. Clothing, dialect, accent, and behavior combined with race, gender, and age all affect how whether a person is perceived as urban, rural, professional, blue/white collar, poor, rich, foreign, etc. For example, a Hispanic person with a foreign accent will be perceived differently than one without; moreso, if their English is less than fluent. Some of those perceptions are logically based, some are statistically/stereotypically based, and some are false altogether. There are some urban traits that are debatably reasons for suspicion once they cross into the gang or thug culture attributes. Young men of any race have a tendency to embrace these cultural traits, and it does nothing to help their interactions with older people. Many people would say such attitudes and discrimination are unjustified, but in extreme cases many people would justify such discrimination among civilians. These same issues occur in other countries among people of the same or different races. Regardless, a law enforcer should only enforce the law according to legal code and precedent for whether something is generally ignored. There are many laws on the books that are never enforced, and if a law enforcer attempts to enforce such obscure laws against someone, then it also is likely a form of discrimination. This was clearly an example of such discrimination, because it is highly unlikely the officer would have behaved the same way toward two people of other ethnic or cultural groups.

I don’t see this at “justice served”. He was only fired AFTER THE VIDEO WAS POSTED!!! How many times did he abuse his power before he was caught? And how long would he continue if the video wasn’t posted?

Wow, what a pain. Back when I was 15 I was arrested in a JC Pennys allegedly for shoplifting a pair of sunglasses that I was wearing when I entered the store. They called the police, they took the sunglasses I never got them back. That was 50 years ago. The Security agent was fired along with the assistant manager. I had them both arrested and I pressed charges and won my case. I have never shopped in that store ever again nor anyone in my family. They accused me because I had long hair. I am happy those young guys stood up for their rights against that tyrant.
