Donald and Jay are so satisfying to hear on any car, especially a Caddy.
@guidedmeditation23962 ай бұрын
I love Donald and Jay but the car... not so much. True luxury is something roomier and easier to get into and out of. I know "To Each His Own", but go to a parking lot and you will see a canyon of so-called SUVs. There was a time when mainstream cars had chair height seats and they were big and clunky but today, especially when you have an electric vehicle that is both heavy with a low center of gravity it makes the height and room inconsequential. IN the end they plan to take the right to drive away from you anyway in just a couple of years so none of this matters.

Just because an opinion is different than yours doesn't mean someone is clueless. Cadillac has presented several concept cars that , in my opinion, are much more beautiful than the Celestiq. I would have preferred the produced the Ciel instead. I dont care for the Celestiq's design language, and I'm sure many more buyers will opt for the Rolls Royce Spectre over this. I think Cadillac flubbed an opportunity to build a truly world-beating halo car.

As someone who'll likely never buy a Cadillac (I prefer small, weird cars) I applaud them for this move. Why wouldn't the "Standard of the World" attempt to reclaim that title in the most advanced & free civilization that the planet has ever known🇺🇸

@@SouthernGent44You literally just made his point. You can’t list one legitimate reason why a customer of this caliber would choose the Spectre over the Celestiq assuming they prefer the Cadillac’s design. I saw many comments on the newest version of the Lincoln Continental being big. I have seen several and they are small. I that to read the name to verify it isn't a mkz or s or what ever other shit box Lincoln has since killing the town car. The new Continental failed since it was so small. This shit box is hideous and electric and overpriced. It will fail on that. Size is good but this is not a proper Cadillac so size doesn't matter. The ct6 was better but too small and didn't have V8 until they decided to discontinue it so it did poorly.

When the GMC Hummer was revealed they said they’d believe it when they seen it. It came to production and the goalpost was moved to charging speed for the slowest method possible, the Hummer’(s) weight and size being “unbearable”. Cadillac Lyriq revealed, haters claimed they’d never build it or see it come to production. It’s went into production nearly unchanged. They wanted to then make the headline about any software glitch a Ultium vehicle experienced. *gm* kept supply low until they were able to workout the kinks with Hummer, Lyriq, Blazer, etc. Then the story became *gm* isn’t selling EVs. They worked out the kinks and ramped production up and the Lyriq went on to become the best seller of the segment. Celestiq was revealed, same people claimed they’d never build it. Now that it’s gone into production people complain about the price or the controversial design. I feel like the Celestiq and Sollei are Cadillac’s middle finger to every single naysayer they’ve had within the last 50-60 years. What he said about having a heritage and actual identity of your own as strong as they do is what every manufacturer truly dreams of. Cadillac has figured that out and that’s why they’ve gone back to their roots. This is now a game of chess ♟️ for *gm.*
