The side profile and rear three-quarter view of this car are just stunning. It floored me in a way that no new car has done in a long time. I really want to see one in dark green with bronze wheels.
@noobFab16 минут бұрын
Yes, the side profile looks exciting, and the front is a nice little update to the old, but that back end flat panel…? Just plain weird. There’s sculpting, accent lines, vents and other points of interest everywhere, and then you get to the back and there’s that weird, flat, bland, featureless panel that looks waaay too last minute and tacked on. I… REALLY don’t get it. The license plate is weirdly shifted down and out of the way, just to preserve the blandness?

Stunning. This will go down as one of the best looking Astons ever. Which is a high bar. The fact they have nailed the handling and kept it under 4,000 lbs doesn't hurt either. And that's before you get to the magnificent engine. A hat tip to Aston Martin. And most of all, kudos for getting Thomas and James to review it. Because now your car has truly arrived. If you need a beta tester to drive it for a year, let me know.

In a previous life I was an insurance auto claims adjuster and wrote a lot of estimates for damaged vehicles. In my experience, I didn’t see a lot of Astons - 5 or 6 maybe but the one thing that struck me is that I never saw minor damage on an Aston - it was always a fatal accident and the damage was extensive. Yes, Jag had a sister version but damage was not as extensive and never fatals even though I did see more Jags than astons - that’s all just an observation

Good to see Aston Martin hasn't lost its way unlike Ferrari and Lamborghini 😢
@kena1283Сағат бұрын
If you think Lamborghini lost its way you’re wrong. Ferrari and BMW I can agree remain in a land of confusion design wise.
@Vincent_StevensСағат бұрын
@@kena1283 the 12 cilindri isn't exceptional in terms of design, but it ain't terrible either. F80 however, they had to name their halo hypercar after a BMW 3 series chassis code, and add to that the abysmal design language and the downsized engine.
@adamhughes4001Сағат бұрын
It's not really the companies to blame it's the tree huggers to blame
@Vincent_StevensСағат бұрын
@@adamhughes4001 Well in the case of Ferrari, that analogy doesn't apply. Around 2-3k Purosangues roll out the factory every year with an N/A V12, same case with the Dodici Cilindri. So 5000 V12 engines mass produced and they decided to go 'eco friendly' on their flagship hypercar? 😂 Think about it
@mixswist54 минут бұрын
tbh, while I am also disappointed that new Ferrari halo car is not a screaming V12 but its a LMDh powertrain on boost. Sure its a 296 engine on steroids but it won LeMans twice. F50 was using a version of their F1 engine, same thing with F80.

Dare to be different. If Ferrari kept making the 812 like Aston martin, Porsche and Lambo recycle the same models. They would be lesser like those car companies. Or if they were Porsche recycling the 911 the last 60 years. This isnt a food or drink brand. Coca cola or mcdonalds selling the same shit, just revising the product. People thought the 812 was ugly when it came out compared to the F12. Same with the F12 coming after the 599. Seeing as Aston Martin sales are struggling and gone bankrupt multiple times. Porsche almosy went bankrupt a couple times in the 80s and 90s. Ferrari has never gone bankrupt. I'll get me one of these Astons for $150,000 in a few years💀
